Thankyou just had this happen middle of yellow box in glasgow city centre watched this video and fixed it and got home thankyou me n my 9 kids got home safe thanks to tgis video ❤❤❤❤

I've had that twice on my Tourneo, I went to Halfords, bought a box of R clips and fitted one of those, never been a problem since.

My one it's same I put back no clip but thx god working but it's nit propa coming back is half way u have any idea maybe araound some bolt is lost or etc

Thanks for sharing the video I’ve got the same problem with my Transit Custom 2017. After you put the clip back on, was there any more problems, did it come back off?? Thanks

To be fair it drove/worked fine after replacing the clip. But what made it come off in the first place? - Usually down to wear. I'd advise a replacement of the Master Cylinder. I'll aim to post a Tutorial on how to this weekend.

Hi mate I can start the engine, that cylinder is on place , but i cant engage the gear , could you please advise? Thanks in advance

Ah I see. Greetings Captain, then your issue may need removal of the gearbox. Are you able to engage gears without the engine running? Then you'll have to look at the gearbox or selectors. If your only struggling to engage gears with the engine running - then possibly the clutch or slave cylinder has gone. Hope that helps

Hi. If the pedals sunk & it's still connected then it's highly likely that the Master cylinder has failed. Have a look at the video link in the description, - it was supposed to be a the tutorial on how to replace it, but I dont think it came out too good 😪 - needs re-editing. But are your symptoms the same?

Also, have you checked the brake fluid level?
