Repair of the clutch pedal. The pedal squeaks. The clutch is not working well. The car is twitching

A very common problem on a Peugeot 308 T9 with a 1.6 HDI engine. Creaking, incorrect gear shifting, a tight clutch pedal, all this and much more, as a rule, is treated by replacing one small part that is inexpensive, but if you do not know about its existence and the need for periodic replacement, then you can, as they say, get on the money. The method proposed in this video does not help everyone and perhaps you have problems with a two-mass flywheel or clutch disc and the repair price will be significant, but nevertheless the method from the video helps many and I think it's worth starting with it.

Superb Video! I have a 2014 308 t9 in DV6C 115HP, I have the same problem: squeaky clutch pedal, jerks when shifting gears and slippage in first gear. Unfortunately, there is no trace of the clutch replacement in the service books or invoices. I bought it at 243,000 kms, I'm now at 253,000, I've driven it a lot and my driving is pretty rough. I have to change the clutch kit + the flywheel, the plastic part of the pedal and maybe the sender-receiver... I hope the clutch isn't dead... 🤞

I’ve recently changed master cylinder and pedal joint due to clutch pedal not returning to its original position or staying pressed. Both these issues are fixed since then, but the clutch pedal continues to creak, especially when its very hot inside the car. What else is there to be done to have a normal clutch pedal?

Thank you, I replaced it according to your instructions in an hour, I just didn't understand why you put the ears down, and the drawing shows the ears up? Basically, I solved the problem of clutch squealing and sticking.

I'm having trouble removing the bolt, it seems to be stuck. Is there a way to remove the bolt? could you give me any suggestion? maybe with cold or some special tool.

Oh god, I'm already dreading it. I think this crap will happen to me soon too. My 2019 model with 20,000 km starts to squeak on the pedal, but only when it is very hot inside.

Believe me, it only gets worse. It starts with creaking, and then the pedal starts not returning to its original position even if you let it go. If you still drive your car like that, the pedal will stay pressed at the bottom all of a sudden, then there is no other chance but to have your car towed to a service.
