I would listen to a lot of music late at night back in 2015-2016. I was in a depressive state. Life was going nowhere, I was ready to end it all. This was one of those songs I’d listen to. Fast forward to now, I’m 30. I have a wife and 2 kids, a house(it was a fixer upper but it’s home). It’s absolutely insane how far I’ve come. I’m grateful for listening to this masterpiece on my down days, I don’t wanna sound cliche but this was one of those songs that saved my life. Glad to have stopped by.

Ryan's creative song writing and musical talents were what made Low Roar so special. Kojima noticed those elements in the band's music when he happened upon them whilst browsing in a record store in Iceland. He immediately was drawn to them and knew that they were a perfect fit for his game, Death Stranding, which won for Best Score/Music in 2019. And of course it did. I was speechless the first time I heard this song. Playing death stranding is kind of like the way life is, walking alone with your cargo, listening to music that makes you keep on track and connecting with people that give you a hand, a rope, a latter, a bridge or even a catapult, fighting against bad weather or bad people, but in the end always by your self. The message here is dont give up on life. Don't give up on yourself. Those words are being spoken to you from your inner spirit begging you to enjoy the days you have. That's what the whole video was. Just a day in this old man's life. And as messy as his life seems, he still woke up, got up, started moving his feet, went outside, and enjoyed the day. It will ruin your life as it has mine. I'm doing my best to recover and im doing a good job. I'm on the very edge of buying a home finally. Because i finally started to focus on me. I've been working and making fat stacks. Not much joy but it makes me feel better that I'm this close to buying a house. And that is a joyous feeling. So if there's any message to take from this, don't give up. Don't give up on me. And don't give up on yourself. Wake up, get up, move your feet, stack up those bills, enjoy the day, and don't ever, EVER forget the most important part. Embrace someone. Go give someone a hug. Because that will brighten up not only your day, but someone else's as well. It was all in the game too. At the very end, the revolver didn't have any part to play in overcoming fear. So instead, he ran out into the water and embraced his fear. And with that, he overcame his fear. Death Stranding is about life and death. As long as life may seem, it truly is too short. Enjoy life and make something of yourself. Don't be stuck in poverty or depression. Only you can pull yourself out of the dirt. Only you can can wake yourself up and get your butt out of bed. Only you can find a job for yourself. Only you... can make the decision to go outside, look up, and tell yourself, "it's not so bad" Don't give up on me. I hope this message reaches someone.
