I listen to 1964 Notre dame football to recall the joy of ara parseghian, and mostly hear the call by Lindsay Nelson. There will not be an equal. black and white, no slow mo, no replays. No nfl, not on tv. Not on saturday, or carry over to early early Sunday morning, after my paper route. Tune in "the voice" A lot like Lon simmons. Here were a few, truly great ones, vin scully, madden, and of course, the insufferable, cosell. The class act that was Lindsay Nelson....my announcer...eternity.
