I use to go on walks with my maternal grandfather all the way from College and Spadina where my grandparents use to live, all the way down to the Skydome, around the Dome and CN Tower base, and back up. Sometimes we'd stop at the McDonald's in the Eaton Centre when it was right by the overpass to the Bay. We followed a very similar route in this video, so this brings back memories.

Been up the CN Tower twice. Once in the 70s and once in the 80s or 90s but not yet to the aquarium . Soon I will. The glass (thick) floor at the observation deck is great!

I just got home about an hour ago and as I was driving home I noticed that at every red light it seemed like it was getting darker and darker and I'm like it's only 4:30 but Granite it's getting colder it started snowing and a little bit of rain so when I watch the video when you said it's getting darker at 4:30 I said good it's not just me and I'm in Mishawaka Indiana

Have you seen the new school just west of the Dome on the west side of Spadina? It's called Jean Lumb. The building also houses a catholic school and a community centre. Very nice building with a grass roof. ZAS architects.

Back in 2016 I think I paid $109 for my lady and I to go to the sky pod. That view was awesome!

I went to Eds Warehouse back in the day with family. Each floor had a different ethnic food and was owned and operated by famous Honest Ed.

Isn’t that City Hall that was the cover of Rush’s Moving Pictures album?

CN Tower was open in 1976. You said 1975: it was still under construction then. I know this for I used to work there in '07 for a season.
