I can tell you that this Chinese stuff they keep talking about is highly politicized. You need HUGE data information to even get anything useful. You need roughly 23 hours a day 7 days a week. In the US, all image sensing, recognition and response processing takes place on board, while in Chinese cities the CCTV systems ID and track all vehicles, providing all the spatial data the system requires. It will require quite a bit more development before it is ready for autonomous driving. I believe that autonomous vehicles will need LiDAR and radar - more than only-camera sensors that FSD uses.
