Investing after a rate cut can be good because it usually boosts economic growth, leading to higher corporate profits and stock prices. Plus, lower rates can make stocks more appealing compared to fixed-income investments. I truly hope other investors realizes this..

Absolutely, the current market will definitely give opportunities to maximize profit, but in order to execute such effective transactions, you must be a pro or work with an investment advisor
@Mlanderos-t9eСағат бұрын
The truth is, the role of an investment advisor can often be overlooked but should never be underestimated. After facing a significant portfolio loss in 2020 during the COVID pandemic while trying to manage my investments on my own, I decided to reach out to an investment advisor. At that time, I had about $126K left in my portfolio. Now, without having to lift a finger, I'm semi-retired, working only 7.5 hours a week, and I'm just 15% short of my $1 million retirement goal thanks to my subsequent investments.

With the Fed cutting interest rates by 50 bps, what do you think will happen to the stock market? My portfolio has performed exceptionally well this year, but I am concerned about the possibility of a market crash and losing my gains though but, it's all on a brighter and splurging side for Gold, should I look that way?
@JohnNgomba-k3v2 сағат бұрын
Gold is often seen as a safe-haven asset that can protect against inflation and economic uncertainty. But like any investment, it carries risks. To determine if gold is the right investment option for you, an investment advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of investing in gold. They can also help you create a well-diversified portfolio that includes gold as part of a broader investment strategy. An investment advisor can help you decide how much of your portfolio should be allocated to gold and select other investments that can complement your gold holdings.
@heatherj-o5j2 сағат бұрын
Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar. It's important to have clear investment goals and educate yourself on the type of investment that interests you. I work with a financial consultant regulated by the SEC, and started small, but eventually accumulated over $800,000.

Has everyone gone braindead? First time in my adulthood that I am hearing about "selloff" and "buy the dip" when there is barely a dip and stuff is still up 30%, 50% and way overpriced. These people are insane and we NEED a crash so people who think get rewarded
@aaronkerrigan2413 сағат бұрын
Which is why it doesn't happen and keeps not happening, and you keep losing for being one of the "people who think." So turn off your brain and smash BUY. Do you actually see government spending slowing down? Do you actually think the Fed will flip hawkish? Do you actually think there's any way we don't print to oblivion to inflate away the debt? For someone "who thinks," you aren't thinking of the right things. Focus your thought not on what should be done by responsible people like you (the false consensus effect), but by the selfish and greedy politicians and businesspeople who control these things. The world makes infinitely more sense when you think like the degenerates in power. S&P 500 to 10,000 by the end of Trump's second term. That's why Masayoshi Son just doubled down, and why Musk and Ackman and many others flipped from criticizing to supporting Trump. You want to "think"? Then think of the right things. I think it's hilarious the market just took a dump as if there's any credibility whatsoever to Powell being hawkish after he (along with Trump, Mnuchin, etc.) printed the largest liquidity event in human history. HA! And do these people think Trump, who measures the success of his presidency by the success of the markets, is going to let a crash or bear happen? HA! I bought this "dip" immediately.

nope. Stocks don't move due to inflation. Earnings increase with inflation, that drives stock prices up. But that did NOT happen. Stocks are up 30% on 5.8% earnings growth, so no, the bump in stocks is not due to inflation or warranted. It's fluff
