Our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy >>and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyper-inflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.

Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

Well explain thank you for bringing up this video. Financial education is indeed required for more than 80% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. The value of the US 🇺🇸 dollar is declining due to inflation, but it is increasing in comparison to other currencies and commodities such as gold and real estate. EVERY 50 rate cut shout when challenged, say the economy is doing well, not falling off the cliff, but we still need a 50 cut. insurance cut? insurance against what? against an economy that is doing well? neutral rate? since when is Fed mandate to achieve neutral rate? They need to be honest and journalist need to challenge these flimsy arguments - that the real reason they want a 50 is so that stock mkt can go higher. and did the host just suggest the stock mkt IS the economy? and mask it off as a question?

Except its not a mission accomplished. Inflation is still way above target, and that is with a massive pull down thanks to energy. There is definitely more work to do on inflation, and pivoting here invites increasing inflation to come back in 2025.
