I think a lot of the splatter can be reduced by redesigning the guard. If it had a spring to push against it as it "drills" it should seal against the paper.

Dude that tipman has a modded barrel, whoever owned that was an OG, that thing shoots accurate and fast, the barrel is bent making it shoot like a curve ball, and different bends shoot better at different distances, like you can make it shoot pretty much the same spot every time at 50 yards or whatever

That's the most awesome 2D printer ever! To make it print even faster, it would be possible to buy an electronic paintball marker and hack the electronics instead of relying on an actuator, allowing for more precise timing.

I studied music in college, and then worked for over five years in prototyping/fabrication/manufacturing for a small scientific company, where I learned to do just about anything and everything! I've been taking things apart since I was a kid, and have always loved cinema/moviemaking. This is a great way to use my talents all together!
