Made these when I first got my CNC machine, followed along on your original video. I use them all the time and will have to make some more as an occasional "oops" in cutting has dinged up a couple, but absolutely saved me from a broken bit!

Happy New Year Bro! Great instructional video. You got the New Year off to a good start. I am also a big proponent of making your own tooling & fixture, whenever possible, as store bought ready made stuff may not always work for what you need to do, and many times the quality is on the lower end of the scale.

I appreciate the download. Look forward to following you on this adventure. I'm 73 and getting ready to retire so I thought this would be an excellent pass time and if I'm able to pick up a couple bucks after you get me on the right path 🤣 then that'll be even better. Worked a little longer than I wanted but my wife had cancer a couple years ago so wanted to make sure she was in the clear, thank God she's in remission. Again thank you and look forward to seeing you soon

Ive had good luck spraying the glue with activator and then quickly setting the piece down, seems to setuo within 5 seconds or so even when its cold in my garage. I prefer that to clamps that way I dont have to worry about hitting the wingnut when I home the machine or when it goes home after finishing the cut. Thanks for the video!

I made those clamps a while back, and I'll make more, can't have too many clamps right? As far as people running into the clamps - it's only a matter of time, you will hit one sooner or later. Also they stack nice for thicker material.

Why there are marks on the spoiled board, can this be avoided?!
@IDCWoodcraft
@IDCWoodcraft Жыл бұрын
Mohamed, it can be avoided but wood is sometimes not 100% the correct dimensions and you end up cutting deeper than the wood. That is ok though, a spoilboard is meant to get messed up!

I think you're getting a little loopy, tossing your work around willy nilly. Did you just come up from the wine cellar again. Then you go accusing people of "stealing" clamps and selling them for $50. Go take a cold shower, if you have any left and a good swig of Apple cider vinegar to clear your head. Come back sober and do this again or someone is gonna put you in clamps.
