Just purchased a used 2015 with 59,000 miles. It's the base model. I was concerned about the engine and feel of the drive but in your video at 4:10 you talked about vibration. That eased my concerns. Thanks for the video.

Good review. Nailed it when you said the ride was tiring. Ive had a 3rd and 4th gen and the suspension literally magnifies every bump in the pavement. I think they must test these in the south. Up north the pavement makes your teeth rattle

I am very surprised they are that bad. ?? My first time seeing one and since it's like the brand for so many people, I don't get it but it was great to finally see.

I've never been a fan of Hondas, nor Toyota. There's something about those brands that I'm not fond of. This car is pretty nice, but I don't think I'd ever buy it.

+Mauricio Guerrero Honda and Toyota appeal to people who know nothing about cars and just want something that works with little maintenance. They don't make bad products but they're meant to get you from point A to point B in the most affordable and comfortable way, and that comfort comes at the price of anything fun or interesting. In other words, Honda and Toyota are boring, and some people like that.

I really don't understand how the CRV got so popular. It seems inferior to it's competition in almost every way, except reliability. The noise level isn't that great, it has one of the worst AWD systems in real-world scenarios, there are cheaper alternatives with more features, the fog lights are good for nothing but decoration, that media system seems like complete crap, and it's so low to the ground that I don't understand how it can even be classified as a SUV or crossover.

CVT... Pass
@raykrislianggi
@raykrislianggi 9 жыл бұрын
rick jr I have to say, I used to hate CVT after driving Nissan Juke for a little over two years, switched to Honda Jazz/Fit and its CVT is really impressive. As Cooley said, the torque delivery is quick and feels like a real automatic. Used to think that Nissan makes the best CVT around because of all its Xtronic CVT marketing, but it turns out Honda has the solid edge, quite surprising. Just sharing my experience.

Worst navigation system for a 2015 car and only supporting iPhone through paid app if you want navigation. Even the engine is inferior to similar priced mazda and kia and hyundai. I wonder how CNET said it is a good car and missed all the shortcomings.

Safoan Rahman Who the hell compares a brand as reliable as Honda to Kia and Hyundai?
@raykrislianggi
@raykrislianggi 9 жыл бұрын
Chris Free I said reliable, not problem-free. Learn how to differ those.
@raykrislianggi
@raykrislianggi 9 жыл бұрын
+Chris Free Your point is? Every car has their problems. Even Toyota had faulty brakes and is still one of the most reliable brand. It's based off statistics, you can't take one or two problems on a specific car and say the whole brand is unreliable, doesn't work that way.
@raykrislianggi
@raykrislianggi 9 жыл бұрын
Chris Free My initial comment was about the brand, then you started discussing about specific problems on a CR-V on a specific market. CR-Vs aren't built in a single place awith the same problems across all manufacturing plants. From where I live, Hondas are generally problem-free.
@safoanrahman
@safoanrahman 9 жыл бұрын
+Ray Krislianggi The brand itself might be ok but what I initially said was that Honda as a brand is way behind other brands when it comes to advancement in technology. CRV has the one of the worst fuel economy for the power it produces and also worst infotainment system in the market.

This review seemed a little off. It sounds like he is making a lot of justifications for why you should buy a Honda CR-V. It's not inspiring. Well I guess that's what the CUV market is. Uninspiring.
