As I know, currently Liziqi is going to school to take some courses. I can't tell the details. It's very possible related to filming or editing I guess. We know she quit school at 14 years old and went to the city to find job to support her family(herself and grandma) after her grandpa passed away. Her father died when she's 6, and her step mother abused her badly. Her grand parent took her away from step mother. The only happy time for her is when she lives with grand parent. We can imagine how hard to her to live and work in the city. What life gives her is pain and darkness. What she gives back to life is kindness and brightness. She is a hard working and hard learning girl. Let's wait and give her time to take a break and enjoy the time in school. Let's keep supporting her. She will do better job after upgrading her self. I have a whole new respect for this woman after watching her "behind the scenes" video on how she makes these videos workout any help, i.e. photographer, assistant, etc. All that she does is done by her and her alone in these videos. The attacks on her integrity almost made her stop making videos, and I'm glad she rose above it. I myself couldn't believe she did all this herself and commented on a few videos about how I believed she had help. But now I realized the long hard work and hours she puts in to getting these beautiful videos to us and I send her best wishes and good tidings for a happy, peaceful, and prosperous life!

If u see her very early videos u ll realise that the transitions in those videos or the camera angle is not moved much but rather operated in such a way that it gives proof that she was changing camera and editing footage all by herself. She has a video abt her making noodles. She said she changed camera so many times for aesthetic angles that the dough dried up so she made bread instead and repeated everything again and for that whole year she hated bread...

That's exactly how my mom made the soy sauce when I was a kid. She didn't have the time and mood to make those since we moved out of the village. I miss the smell especially when the soy started to rot. I cannot exactly describe the smell. It was salty, fresh, yet a little bit rotting. After half a year, it started to become liquid which was soy. It tasted better than any sauce I've tried when I grow up. I miss that. Maybe someday, I will ask my mom to teach me to do that.

This is the story that you should know about Liziqi. She was born in 1990s in a small village in Sichuan，China. She had a hard life in her childhood. Her stepmother always abused her. Once, when she was 6 years old, her stepmother pulled her hair and pressed her head in iced river water in winter. She had never talked about her mother so no one knew what happened to her birth-mother. After her father died, she had to live with her grandparents. Her grandpa was a cook so she watched and learned how to cook from him. After her grandpa died, she went to city to make a living. She did everything she could to survive, such as being a waitress or a DJ. When her grandma was sick, she gave up her DJ career and go back to hometown to take care of her. Still for a living, she started a small shop online. For advertising the shop, she started making these videos......"Life is full of pain but I want to live meaningfully", she says，" The video only shows my dream life, however I have much more work to do behind these. Many people fantasy of my life but it's only some people's survival instincts."
