I'm sandy- Fame isn't the thing that Amy wanted. She wrote poems and lyrics, never thinking people would read them. The thought of being 'famous' scared her. She wasn't scared of losing it but knew she was very lucky to be able to perform her music. Amy turned to drugs for all different sorts of reasons. But it wasn't because she was scared of losing her career.

Couldn't have said it better myself. To that persons comment about her using because of her fear of losing fame...it's laughable
@danyarezvani59988 жыл бұрын
She did say she wanted to be famous in her teens. her music teacher had a letter that she wrote for a project literally saying that she wanted sell out performances. I think she wanted fame alot but didn't realize it's consequences or how she would cope with the fame. It's different to wish for something rather than actually experiencing it

oh she wanted it!her own letter she wrote in school said it and how many kids her age when she started stick to one thing like she did for singing also taking lessons to sing properly,oh she wanted it,she just was so young and didnt have the right person around her to say hey no dont do that amy or amy take a break,but she loved to sing and she knew she had it ,dont forget the teachers at her schooltold her so she knew,but who ever knows how to handle fame,you can try to act like a normal person on the street but when you get popular like her well she needed to put a barrier between herself and her personal life and the fame but she didnt ,she did everything out in the open even her drug taking and boozing so .doesnt matter who you are the drugs and booze will get ahold of you if you overindulge which she did ,i watch people as i grew older and who i use to party with and the ones that stopped drinking or going out to pubs everynight ,well they are still here but the friends i had like amy who couldnt go a day without going to a pub or nightcub to drink well they died cause they got older but cause they are high all the time they just didnt see themselves getting older till the keeld over and died or there heart gives out while they are sleeping or they throwup and chock on it in there sleepsad eh!,you really think that was what amy wanted in her future when she started out,and the peotry writting ,she knew to be a good singer a real singer ,she had to learn to write her own songs ,she knew what she was writing down would become a song,she wrote shit to get it out get rid of bad memorys ,a song ,i htink she very much wanted the world to her her songs and maybe feel good for awhile and know hey even her has a bad day or bad relationship

I watched the documentary on her, "AMY" and it was so profound. It's apparent she was too fragile to handle the kind of overnight success that came her way. The paparazzi just hounded her, she couldn't go out without it. To cope, she used drugs and alcohol. Also her personal life hurt her. I was so impressed with her talent, but also glad to learn she really was, deep down, a good, sweet young lady. Still had her childhood friends and was never snobby. RIP .

Poor little Jewish girl. She was Bi Polar, as am I. You have such a surge of Hyper energy you have to try and drink or drug it away. She obviously wasn't on Psych meds. or proper care. Its a shame how Jewish people disown her and diss her. Horrible. What a huge loss of talent. She also gave lots of money to charity. She gave lots of money to Catholic Charities and wasn't even a Christian.
@kayteeelle10 жыл бұрын
So true. Her brother revealed that she actually started drinking around the age of 18, it's clear the alcohol was a bigger problem for her than the drugs were. I believe she was fine with the psych meds before she began using drugs, it had a very large impact on her state of mind even after she kicked them. I didn't know Jewish people disowned her, it's probably because she wasn't all that religious since she said so herself. There's a lot of good things people don't know about her because the media trashed her so much and her out like skum.
