No you didn’t tell the truth. You provided Michael Jackson drugs that you knew were addictive and an anaesthetic that required a clinical setting ( e.g ventilation)and eyes on at all times responsibility. You neglected your duty of care as a medical doctor to ensuring these things were maintained. 1. When he requested drugs that you knew were addictive and should not have been given you should have walked away after advising him to seek help. 2. Your skills in finding MJ unconscious ( CPR) showed you were not equiped to be responsible for his care or to administer anaesthetics. 3. You lied under oath about the time you were away from monitoring MJ and failed to accurately document the drugs and care you provided. Furthermore you lied to ambulance, emergency care providers at the hospital and attempted to hide evidence. 4. You had a duty of care to MJ and ultimately AEG was vicariously liable for your actions. You cannot claim to be a friend and medical Dr to Michael Jackson Dr Murray if your decisions and actions lead to his death. You could simply say No to him but instead you provided the smoking gum, so to speak. Whether sycophant or simple greed for Money, one would have to believe as the court did the latter is more likely your motive because you kept that recording of his slurred rant, possibly for a later time🤔 Doesn’t matter either way you were unethical, a liar & serviced your needs beyond that of MJ, his children, his family. Other Dr’s has denied MJ and advised him to seek help, why couldn’t you????? Because you saw dollar signs!!!!!!! Hopefully this will be a lesson to Dr’s who’s clients seek drugs of addiction. Except his heart DIDN'T stop until the very end. His LUNGS stopped because Murray gave him propofol without monitoring him with machines. He left the room and left him on the drip. Michael fell into deep sedation while the doctor was out of the room. In deep sedation your mind basically stops controlling your body and you need to be put on machines to do the work for you. The doctor didn't have Michael on a ventilator and wasn't monitoring any vitals. When he came back in he didn't listen/feel for a pulse or breaths so he started doing compressions which were totally unnecessary. Had he hooked him up to oxygen or even manually pumped an ambu bag while they waited for EMTS Michael would have been fine. He still would have needed treatment and would have probably been admitted to rehab for drug addiction, but he would still be alive right now and honestly probably better off than he was. I can understand that maybe the doctor was having to do some sketchy things for Michael, but if you're administering powerful medication like that you need to have air and a defibrillator available. There never should have been a day where he was given propofol without being electronically monitored and having a doctor who knows how to react to crashing. The first thing you do in ANY medical emergency is feel and check for heart and breath movements or sounds. How do you even screw that up?
