As an Australian I’d like to say one thing I’ve always loved about Americans is that when they feel a cause is just, they don’t wait for a government to tell them to go. They just go. A long history of it. Lafayette Escadrille, being a prime example from ww1. The fighters who fought the Battle of Britain while the USA government still faffed about whether or not fighting the 3rd reich was worth it. Gotta respect these people. Fighting a war is tough. I thank them so much for heading out there to train them. Considering how long the war has been going on now, it seems like they must’ve headed out there only a few days after the invasion started. It is a shame they can’t stay for longer, but I guess they do have to return to their families who inevitably need them to support them as well. I truly hope that other veterans will head over to help continue the training. As for around the world will probably be helping the Ukrainian official trainers with the newest recruits but right now need all the help they can get.
