Please don't be offended by what Rajesh Khanna may have said. Some non-Indians resent it when visiting Indians from India claim Guyanese Indians as 'Indians'. Even in white countries VIPs from India visiting, say, Australia or the USA, have to be careful how they characterise people of Indian descent. Some Afro-Americans also don't like Indian immigrants because they seem to buy houses and good cars very quickly!!!

Many stayed back..the ones that were traveling to and from has been keeping in contact with their families since then 1800. As time went by people changed. It is onkt the blacks never went back to Africa or made no effort to go. So they settled in British Guiana(Guyana) & started thier own business and moved on with their lives.
