I am so tired of the racquet merry-go-round where every line is updated around every 2 years. You get used to a frame and then you can't get another one because the specifications have changed.

I think the VDM tech is the main culprit. I played with the red 2018 VCore 95 for a while, and came back to the new one, after selling those in search of something better a while back. The new ones are nice with a. little extra pop, but they have that muted feel that comes with VDM. Iirc, the new ones are not only thinner in the top, they have a bit thicker at the throat and in the middle, so there's that as well. I'm currently demoing the new VCORE Pro 97 (310), and that also has a slightly thicker beam and VDM, which takes away the magic from the DG version (which I believe is the actual model most VCP endorsers use).

Great comment. I purchased the 2018 Vcore 95 model this year. Haven't played with it yet but am excited to in the coming months. I'm an advanced player and have been testing rackets for a solid year. Haven't found the right one. I pray this is it. I need feel, plus I play very flat and aggressive.

Have been using Vcore 95 2018 since it was released with some lead tape, but I found 2021 version with leathergrip and weight on hoop better for volleys, slice and ohbh and more stable than older version, maybe slightly less feel but leathergrip help improve it a lot, so that could be an option if higher weight is not an issue... even prefer it over the Regna as it provides more control and beam specs are already very similar. Would love to try wilson pro-stock but I will stick to my Yonexes for sometime, including the old Duel G 330.

y favourite racket of all times was the head prestige Pro 600 (89inch) and the weight and feel has not been surpassed in my eyes. nowadays we are all using different rackets rackets and my question is....can these new rackets,whether they are head or wilson rackets,be customised to feel like the Head prestige 600....just with a bigger head,sweet spot and obvioously power?

This is random but I just want thin beamed (19-20 mm beam), 16x19 string pattern, 95 square inch, 320 grams unstrung pro staff. Thin Beamed pro staffs need to come back!

Bully Garfield Yes, and they are ideal for customization. I still like my thin beam 95 PS 6.1. It plays great with syn gut, multifiber, co poly or hybrid set ups.

They were a great racquet but a little stiff compared to the new ones. The new technology that babolat is using offers better feel and is more arm friendly then before.

@@CourtsideAfterHours I see. Thanks for the notice. As I said, it is quite frustrating for fans that ask him questions and him never responding to a single comment. But know I/we know. I like your channel congratulations, I'd like your opinion, totally unrelated to this topic. I'm searching for CONTROL oriented multifilament/synthetic gut, do not like poly or hybrids, the best I've found so far are tnt react pro and head rip. Obviously maxing out tension goes along with that. Thanks in advance.
@CourtsideAfterHours3 жыл бұрын
Why don’t you try the Rexis Speed from Yonex? It’s a little stiffer so it will give you more spin and control. It actually has a poly core surrounded by syn gut. Check out and follow our KZbin page! Feel free to ask us any questions you might have :)

Ooooohh - i got something in my mind, to rebuild a classical racket ( standing, upward-shifted oval) with 85 to 88 sqinchs with ca. 62 RA an with descendingly tapering handle-shaft area to approx. 22 mm ( like ,,vintage" Kneissl White Star-rackets) with 18/19-Pattern for using only two knots! A racket for feeling like ,,coming Home" with classical feeling, better sweet spot, control like classical Head-racket combined with modern speed! I can do this, when i get the technical resources and the suppoert of CAD! For this i´am searching, then I will give you tennis rackets that will blow your mind, not such a mass uniform shit !!! Then we will again have very different and more individual players with very different and more independent striking techniques! Because that, just that - the individuality and the skill - was and is the SOUL of tennis! Not power for power's sake, that doesn't interest me and I can't look at it anymore! That's why I don't watch Djokovic or Nadal or anyone else, it's boring and technically poor and primitive!

Can the coaches show a close up on the grip with them holding it? (for grip size) not sure if there is already a video...I've seen the one where you go over what grip you should get and how players choose smaller grips now, but its kind of hard to judge...

I think that there is a new blade coming this year (2021). let’s see how that goes. hopefully no free flex and just regular solid blade.

You like it due to the flex but knocked it because it was not as stiff as the ProStaff. Aaaah! The famous popular H22 with the spin friendly string pattern. How in the hell do you customize a racquet for GU and let another knucklehead mess up the lead tape job?

Funny how he says the Blade Pro feels like an old Blade...... It's only a Blade in name/paint. It's absolutely nothing like any of the Blades. Even good players drink the Kool-Aid.
@bowsershark2 жыл бұрын
Now they know it is a pro stock H22 painted like a blade. For some reason we have to deduce this because they were fooled by it lying around. Then, they found out it was a pro stock H22. But, they still refer to it as a blade because that is what the paint job displays.😌 That open pattern is wild, huh!
