Opponent or not, I ALWAYS respect a man who tells the truth and makes no excuses. I'm a die-hard BAMA fan since 1977 and I've seen a lot of down years. If I live long enough, I'll see some more of them. That's the game. I come from the Bear era and I learned back then that games come and go but CLASS lasts for a lifetime. Congratulations to the LSU Tigers on a hard-fought effort.

@@Dso1217 The last 2 times? The 1st time was in 04 I believe and Bama was horrible then, but yes they did handily beat us in the sugar bowl in 2013. Alabama has had the same issues as LSU offensively to a degree up unti this year, all it takes is a legit QB and a competent OC.

The scheme LSU played was good. The problem was really 3 things. QB, o line, and...well alabama. Dont take away the fact that not only does alabama have an above average defense as usual, but alabama has the best offense they have ever had. From offensive line to qb to running backs.

Rashaad BORN! I disagree. Defensive play was good but when your offense can't stay on the field the defense gets tired and that's exactly what happened! And this isn't the first game Burrow paniced and looked like less than a high school QB! Who ever thought the O line was strong enough to make a run at a championship should be fired! I didn't play college ball because i blew out both knees in high school and i played QB and even i can tell Burrow is trash! Well me and my buds who have been getting together for years to watch them are completely done until they find a QB! It's pathetic that our last decent QB was Matt Flynn! Actually it would be better if they lost the rest of their games and maybe that will wake the coaches up to the fact that we have no offense at all!!!! ImNotMad ButUR I thought that if Tua started and was as good as he showed in the NC game this would possibly be the greatest Saban team ever which is scary. I truly believe at this point that the only team that can beat them is themselves but so far they’ve been improving each week, particularly on defense. I’ve always wondered what a Nick Saban team would look like if you were to add a proper Heisman caliber quarterback and my god it’s almost unfair. And he’s here for at least another season!

I've been saying it all season ... LSU does not have a sound offense. They have been living and dying by their ability to kick field goals. They caught Georgia Flat Footed, and that is the only real signature win LSU has. The argument for their 3 top 10 wins falls short when two of those 3 teams have shown they aren't even top 25 worthy [Miami & Auburn]. Alabama Shut these cats Out! Not just down ... Shut them Out!! On their own field. Hell, even Arkansas' Offense performed better than LSU's vs `Bama. LSU is a good defense first program. But until they learn how to move the ball on their opponent's side of the field, they will not be a great team. . . .

Tyrone Miles I disagree LSU has always played Bama well untilmup to now & yes Bama is great but they always get a week ass schedule start adding GEORGIA & FLORIDA to the list each year they play about 4/5 weak ass teams every year lately & not saying they want beat either but put a tougher schedule together LSU had to toughest out all SEC .... go look @ the schedule & look @ they BS schedule for 2019 really

I’m a Alabama fan but I have a ton of respect for Coach O, he hides nothing and tells it just let it is and was. CFB needs more people like that. This is the reason the SEC is the best!!!! RTR!!!

I'm not sure how to match Alabama player to player. Their third string RB was the #1 recruit last year. I don't care how great of a coach you are, it's so difficult to beat that kind of depth. Until Oregon can lock down the state of LA, it's hard to win. 4 Lousiana kids starting on that team, it hurts. Got to win those blue chip in state battles. Tua wasn't the difference, it was the line of scrimmage. This is just tough

i thought the receivers werent the problem it was the oline and the inability of the qb to consistently hit hit target. he has been a 50% qb all year and imo it isnt the receivers fault. I also thought the Dline did a pretty decent job at pressuring tua. they made him move the pocket all night but they just couldnt bring too much heat without getting punished.
