Hi Jennifer! After watching you here, I just purchased my Tabby 26 in this same Oxblood colour. I absolutely love this colour and am now considering purchasing the black one as well. The black is all pebble leather and hopefully won't scratch too easily. Do you know if the hardware is actually brass or is it a coated brass with base metal? The salespeople at the Coach store could not answer that question and everyone you asked had a different guess. Lol! I was thinking you might know. Thanks!

Omg! You convinced me. I didn't realize I didn't like the look of both straps on because of how thick the crossbody strap looks and it was holding me back. It changed the whole look of the bag when you removed one of the straps. And the gold chain was a revelation! I might try it with the Cassie to dress it up at night!

I love this bag. I bought the tabby shoulder bag. Larger in size in the navy colour. Roomy, classic design, lightweight and soft pebble leather. This is a great buy and priced well by coach. Hope they keep heading this design direction. Luxury designer brands watch out!

Wonderful review, I'm going to get this bag, love it. I loved how insightful and excited you were about this bag, really helps in deciding if the bag is worth the purchase. Also the inside lining is swade it will tell you on the inside tage which is attached to the bag. Always..always carry your medical insurance cards !!!!!!! I had an accident..and when the ambulance was taking in me..they are like..we are going to take you to the county hospital..im like i have ..my insurance cards..in my wallet..and they were like..oh we know where to take you!! The Tabby 26 comes with 2 different leather straps. The long, adjustable (shoulder or crossbody) leather strap, and the short, leather, shoulder strap. I added the gold chain strap (purchased separately-link below the video) to give it a dressier look and show how this bag cold be changed.

I miss buying Coach, I love the regular leather Coach bags without all the advertising of the C from the 1980s and 90s. I think that killed the brand. I am loving the new Coach bags I am currently seeing. Thanks for the review I am considering that bag myself.

Hello Deborah Thank you so much! The length of the strap, at its longest buckled setting, laying flat on the ground, from clasp to clasp, is 48". This gives it a strap drop (top of shoulder to top of bag) of 23"- 23 1/2". I hope this helps :)

That is such a difficult question to answer....but I think if I had to choose, and I didn't already have the LV pochette metis, I would choose the Cassie. Only because of it's size and the fact that I love it's design. I loved being able to compare the p. metis with the Cassie, but I also loved being able to discover a new Coach design! Yes! I see that now! I could swear that fabric lining was never mentioned int the description when I first looked! Interesting! It is a very good looking fabric lining! There is a very light scratch on the smooth part of the bag, but it certainly won't be the last! I have a feeling that smooth part will show some wear.
