Good vid, coach! I also found useful shadowboxing eyes closed... that way you really feel whenever your balance gets compromised.

Hey Coach - you're my new favorite KZbin coach! Thank you for the way you break it down, demonstrate with guys that know how to fight, and get right into it. Couple of others on line seem to like to listen to themselves more than get right into something I can be practicing at the gym that day. Making an old guy feel good! Keep it up!

great video 👏 👍 notice when you said when shadowboxing you should do it slow to make sure your balance and techniques is right that is so true i see alot of pro fighters shadowboxing very fast sometimes they can be off balance without them even knowing i truely believe when shadowboxing you should slow it down to make sure your techniques stance perfect

Good upload, but you should almost always set up the (big) right hand with a snappy straight left jab; it's rare you can just land power shots from the get-go and if you're loading up you run the risk of being caught with counters yourself. It's about creating and giving angles and looking for the openings for the big shots.

Good looking out for the videos bro , some of the best content out there. Where is your gym?
Good video get basics sorted,what I want to know is true boxing stance what I've seen from guy Marvin cook where you can always punch whenever not punch and move what are lot other boxers doing different from him then ??,as I'm kickboxer our stance totally different anyway,

Thanks coach. As per what you've shown if you overthrow the straight right without good balance, taking a left hook will knock you down. I'm actually facing the blinking problem like when getting hit or when trying to body shot. Can you help me plz?
@MarquiseBLXCK5 жыл бұрын
BERTDELASPEED I had the same blinking problem when boxing. Sometimes I’d blink when I’d throw my own shots. Light sparring will help fix them and building confidence. Get a partner box lightly and focus defense and counters. So you can see the shots coming. You can’t counter with closed eyes. Building confidence will help.
