Coaches need coaches too

Coaches are people too and sometimes have blind spots. Having a coach that seeks to check those blind sports in pursuit of continuous improvement is a great sign.
My personal and professional lives have benefited greatly from coaching and mentorship over the past 12 years or so. I have learned that my biggest enemy is my ego. Do I need to know everything? Do I always need to be right?
A question that I love to ask myself is, “Would I rather be happy or right?” When I ask other people for suggestions or support, I often find the answer that allows me to be happy - and better - than if I tried to solve the problem on my own.
