I've this bad habit of locking to only my wrist for aiming in general and let me tell you thats really bad, arm should be utilized for moving mouse long distances (as to what is a long distance depends on your specific sens) and should be utilizing fingers, wrist and arm for muscles for aiming otherwise you are just handicapping ur self from full potential. Yes it is difficult at first but daily concentrated practice can fix everything!

I dont understand the purpose of these kinda videos, i just sat down and watched a 11 min video that basically said you need to find your own settings and not copy others, and that micro adjustments are important. Which i am %100 sure everyone that follows just even a little bit aiming or gaming in general knows already. i think i watched something like this already 1000 times. and they are just keep coming :D and i understand you need to put a caption like "This is going to chance everything " to get more views but honestly why not actually talk about the things that actually really matter? what is the purpose of you telling me, that i need to find my own settings, keep changing sens, and dont copy pros setups? is these videos only for people who are below gold that doesnt know a thing about aiming or gaming in general?

i always look back to a kobe bryant story. a reporter (i think) went to watch kobe workout and all he did was basically "little" kid drills, extremely basic stuff, and the reporter asked him basically (paraphrasing) "you in the NBA why you doing all that?" and kobe said (again paraphrasing) mastering the basics is what makes you great. i was radiant from episode 3-6 and i always applied that same mentality. it works
@Moedow

Aiming is just training muscle memory. It’s similar to learning an instrument, the guitar. You adjust grip, position of guitar, finger placement and then slowly start to learn scales. You start slow, really slow, so slow until you complete a task without making mistakes and then gradually increase the speed. If you go up in speed and make a mistake, go back to the previous level. Rinse and repeat until you get really fast while always maintaining accuracy. That’s it. Everyone has particular preferences when it comes to aiming. There is no right or wrong. Listen to suggestions, as in this video, try it, and see if you improve. If not, keep experimenting. No one can tell what your personal, ideal preferences are. This video is not meant to give you a strict direction. Look at the video more as a way of analyzing, thinking and reasoning. Obviously you will still have to adapt it to your own preferences.

I have a question, Since jinggg doesn't rely on first bullet accuracy and having "calm aim" does this mean people who have been giving out advice that you should have calm aim is to be taken with a grain of salt? Does this mean your aim style should be what you are comfortable on? I know calm aim is just a lot more consistent and this allows for smoother kills when you're not mechanically gifted but what I'm worried about is what if calm aim isn't for me and jinggg's playstyle fits more of my style? Because most of the aiming guides I've seen in youtube tells me to stop confirm and then shoot in which jinggg doesn't do that. The question I have is what should I actually follow? My own aim style and develop it or listen to coaches who say that calm aim is more optimal but then again jinggg is a top tier player and yet the only advice I heard from jingggg is " I don't know I just play" LMAO

if you're very new, i think first thing to do is trying to get used to the maps, game sense, agents, try play more agents get yourself comfortable. in valorant aim is really not that important especially if you're on lower side of the rank. you should be fine. besides theres lots of coaching vids that are free. blud if you had good aim from csgo you wouldn’t be placed in iron 3 , i literally got silver 1 as my placement rank solo queue when I didn’t know any map any agent or any ability so try playing 15 min of range and 3 dm daily before compi that way you will rank up quickly and also we can’t spray or crouch a lot like csgo in valorant so first thing you want to do is strafe shooting in bursts

Of course, the pros practice in game. Other people just flat out aim train. VTmatty, dracoo and a bunch of other people on that list I would say have the best raw aim due to the amount of aim training they have done, but that doesn't mean they have the best valorant aim because it has different mechanics and elements, which is why they aren't necessarily valorant pros from the get-go

Muscle memory means that you know how far you have to move to reach a certain spot on your screen, like where an enemy is, which has nothing to do about memorizing everything about the map. Regardless of any situation you’ll still have to move the same distance from point A or B. And being able to do that without thinking, especially in a sweaty situation (which would be using muscle memory), is really important

@@SnowMexicann I think it's better to stick to the most balanced sens, otherwise your muscle memory might get confusing due to inconsistent training. There's a reason CSGO players always keep the same one, they have way better aim, with multiple weapon types. Muscle memory isn't about learning every movement, but how fast the camera moves in relation to your mouse movement, making it more and more natural with time and therefore, faster.
@SnowMexicann
@SnowMexicann 7 ай бұрын
@@ladrillorojo4996 Muscle memory isnt a thing, thats just not how muscle memory works. Otherwise youd have to train every single flick possible from 1cm to however far you can reach and every single tracking length possible. Your aim is determined by your motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Thats what aim training aims, your ability to use your arm muscles, wrist muscles and finger muscles for fine movements and precision. It also trains your ability to register when your crosshair is on your target and your click timing.

But all of this doesn't count if ur playing CSGO because I had a really good aim in cs when I came to valorant I wasn't good as In cs but cs is mechanically harder so what should I do 😅

maybe try to learn the game more, better your game sense, play more agents, get a duo/someone that can coach you (try to get a free one) identify what you struggling with and work on it.

The problem is that the time for AD and weapon pattern are different. Valorant's running speed decreases way slower than in CSGO/CS2, so that gives CS players an adaptation problem. Just adapt to that increased stopping time, learn the weapon patterns and, like i did, use the same sensitivity. There's a sensitivity calculator on the internet that transforms CSGO sens to Valorant sens. Oh, and try to stick to your original role.

@@ladrillorojo4996 absolutely right. While playing valorant I messed up my counter strafing due to the speed of the deceleration of the character model in valorant but what do you mean to stick to ur original role I didn't get it 🤔

At 4:09 your talking about muscle memory being a meme but honestly its the main thing people fucking use in aimtrain and stuff like aimlabs. Its adapting your mind to flicking and aiming at targets and to be used to the motions. It is a problem in games though since it wont help you from 1. Different targets, 2. Game mechanics and factors. So from those differences, any training you do wont be useful unless its just about adjusting to a sens, flicking movements, and learning angles. I think you are getting muscle memory mixed up with crosshair placement and just using your brain to try and predict people since unless your hand is forcing you to peek an angle or always flick, its not muscle memory. But crosshair placement and trying to predict people is only bad in valorant and still just half the time since other games like cs2 and r6 its a common skill and very useful since people actually hold tight angles, small angles, and play more off util so you have to get used to prefiring, lining people up, and shooting while flashed or smoked. Val people just say, Oh im gonna flash this and then peek in the wide fucking open and hope I can kill them all. Please think about how stupid the stuff your saying is, you go and talk and try to explain flicking and saying muscle memory is bad from trying to preaim and predict people to saying you gotta predict people and lead them which can lead to other issues like what if they jiggle, stop moving, or use an ability and your forced to try and flick on them or are left with a micro adjustment and you never showed how to actually get a good sens.

If all that’s true (and it’s not lol you’re way off but I see where you’re coming from in some of those scenarios) then why don’t you know how to adjust your sens regularly? Do u go look up sens videos every single time you make an adjustment? There are dpi converters you know

Death match is great for taking fights in certain areas. If I find myself losing certain fights repeatedly, I will practice them in death match to improve. Super useful tool for more than just warming up.

Not really true, if wrist aiming limits your control depends surely on your mouse DPI and In-game DPI settings. That hype of arm movement is in my opinion senseless. What takes more energy and time moving your arm or your wrist? 🤫
