@@CoachShayain Is it normal to have different brand clubs in your bag? Thanks Coach Shayain. Hope you have a nice holiday weekend.
@CoachShayain3 жыл бұрын
@@canoakajose2206 most people go to one place and buy all their clubs or the same brand. Some have the same brand for irons and a diff brand for driver. Or they might have one brand for irons, woods and driver and a diff for putter and wedges. There isn’t one correct way but what I would suggest getting fitted for clubs to understand what works best for your swing and game. I hope that helps!

Ive started out using hand me downs from my boyfriend. As i use and get to know them, hes been cutting them down for me and changing grips. All are graphite other than the irons. Are there graphite irons? And do you like the Spider putters? I finally started getting my drives to go up yesterday and OMG...what a feeling!!😲💕

Hello Shayain! I have an L wedge so what is that good for distance or height? Looking at it, it’s not open so sounds like more distance vs height?? Thank you so much! Your videos are Awesome!! Wish you were in San Diego! 😊 this beginner is learning a lot from you. 🎉
@CoachShayain2 ай бұрын
An L wedge is a Lob wedge and it should be very “open” facing the sky…. Similar to it gives you tons of height and not as much distance as your irons. It should be one of the shorter clubs in your bag in terms of length. If this doesn’t make sense send me a DM on instagram and a photo of the club.

Would you recommend taking practice strokes after set up before hitting the ball?
@CoachShayain3 жыл бұрын
I take a practice swing before every shot. That is part of my routine and I would suggest you create a routine for yourself that you do before every shot. I have a video on routine which I have the link below.

Why not advise a chipper along the fringe or rough? You putt and don’t compensate for the drag falling short, chip, you risk blading or over shooting. A chipper still has a negative connotation but not for a beginner or someone like me that has the issues mentioned above. In my opinion, it’s the missing link and has a place in the bag. And now you can carry 18 apparently. But I’d sacrifice my 9 or PW if I had to. Hold up on my 8 or hit a little harder with PW or SW. Great videos too. Thanks.
