Exactly, fights like Hagler Hearns in 85 you wouldn't see today, that level of skill and intensity and Bert Cooper was in several wars against Moorer and Holyfield and this bout with Mercer. Good call Jeffrey..

Bert Cooper fought everyone 😂 heard he use to to party all night and drink with women the night before fights 😂 guy most likely showed up for a check 90,% of the time but I tell you what when there was a belt up for grabs he showed up to win, he would have been a champion if he was more disciplined

Mercer should’ve & Cooper could’ve. Mercer was greater but Cooper was certainly great to have weathered that & other storms.

Sure ; Cooper didn’t break anything , instead he smashed a nerve in mercer’s cheek , maybe jaw. That was in first round or two .. then proceeded to fight for ten rounds 😳. There’s “ tough” ... and there’s TOUGH 😳
