A very gentle stroll today, no big hills just gentle countryside, it may be the end of the Lake District and it is the END of the Mountains, now its all Moors and fields until you reach the coast.

The Big Boulder in the field was left by the Last Ice Age.... approx 2000 years ago.

I think you will find your hanging rats are in face Moles, the Mole Catcher hangs them so the Farmer know how many he caught.
