Hello Bob, I know that when I see your opening day video pop up in my feed that the warmer weather is finally here again. I also know that I am in for a real treat. I have to say it and I will try to do so without sounding corny. Your videos are 'thee best' park videos on the Net. I have watched quite a few of them over the past ten years or so. For the record, no one died riding Son of Beast. There were incidents resulting in injuries, but no deaths. Thank goodness The Beast is still there!! One of my favorites.

CoasterBob62 It's a bit premature, but one day we will meet, me you Rob Alvey and East coast, to talk about construction of a 600 foot coaster. I can't get into details, but trust me, within the next 5 years this coaster will be a reality,....somewhere in this country.

Favorite park in my opinion, Its my homepark as I only live 1 hour away from it. My favorite rides in order are Banshee, Diamondback, Droptower, The Bat, and Flight of fear

First off...excellent video as always by CoasterBob. But please pardon my ignorance, as I've never been to King's Island. At 1:58 it seems a little dangerous to me to have that "soccer game" set up right beneath the coaster. I mean, what if someone accidentally (or maybe even God-forbid intentionally) kicked the ball high enough to hit the track or cars as they're coming through?

Anthony Martinez I believe the maintenance department does the majority of the refurbishment. I also believe they either get their parts for the Monster from Oregon rides (company that bought out Eyerly quite a few years ago) or independent parts manufacturers. It's a great ride and I can't wait to ride it again soon! :-)

+Kevin B Some coasters, like Banshee, have seats for larger folks -- the ride ops would be able to tell you which ones. Also, some coasters have test seats at the entrance to you can try them out and possibly avoid the walk of shame! :D

+CoasterBob62 Thanks for the great information. When I was 300 pounds back in the 90's, I could fit on the vortex, beast and racers. Glad to hear that the banshee is made for bigger riders. I'm still going to get back down to 300 pounds or less before I try to ride anything again. I will ride them by the end of the year.. Take Care
