Good choices, but a couple of things you may have missed: Legoland Windsor opened Minifigure Speedway, the first Zierer Dueling Reverse Coaster. I personally think it's a fun addition in the case of family coasters in terms of uniqueness.

Honestly, I’m only 48 seconds into the video, but I gotta give you some props for your editing style! There are so many creators making content related to theme parks and roller coaster, and one thing that always bothered me, was the content in the video not matching what the person is saying, and with your videos, that is not the case. Everything you say matches what we see on screen, and I really, really appreciate that! I‘m not really commenting a lot on KZbin, but I had to say it! Hey thanks for the very kind comment! I hope you felt the other 10 minutes and 40 seconds matched up as well. There's a trade off between quantity and quality. Most other coaster KZbinrs seem to go more for quantity, using POVs of random rides as visuals while they chat. I like to have it all match but it does take a lot longer. It means a lot you've been watching for a while and that you were willing to comment ☺️

All of the footage of Hyperia was my own. If I've been to that theme park the footage featured in my video will most likely be my own. The more parks I go to, the bigger my video collection becomes, so the more of my own footage I use. I tend to prefer my own footage because it looks more consistent, compared to using other people's royalty free videos that were shot on a range of different cameras or phones.

Good video, Harry! The future is looking bright for roller coasters! I am excited for the Georgia Surfer coming to my home park next year. It'll be the park's first launch coaster since Viper, their Schwarzkopf shuttle loop closed in 2001. Plus, it's a unique coaster.

It wasn't very exciting for us in the US this year. All we got was a rough dive coaster, a broken Zamperla, and a few family coasters. Next year should be better with all the new Cedar Fair coasters.

Got 4 rides in Voltron 2 weeks ago, first one was perfect, amazing, best coaster ive been, zero rattle. Second and third's vibration would make me change the coaster into 3rd place behind Velocicoaster and Batman Gotham City Escape, our last ride was again perfect thankfully, amazing way to say goodbye to our Europa Park trip. Happy it was my 80th credit. FLY was also awesome when we visited Phantasialand (already had Taron, that was bumped down from 3 to 5, becuase of this 2 coasters, and Taron is still amazing so bein above it is high praise).

I've heard great things about Voltron and FLY. It's weird that Voltron can be a little hit or miss vibration wise. Hopefully it's something the park work on over time. I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😁

I'm a little offended (playfully offended) that Busch Gardens Williamsburg wasn't mentioned in this video at all. Roller coasters that have had new life breathed into them were mentioned (Top Thrill Dragster/Top Thrill 2 and Nemesis/Nemesis reborn) yet the fully restored Loch Ness Monster: The Legend Lives On at Busch Gardens Williamsburg was never mentioned. Also, new for 2025 roller coasters that have been announced were mentioned but Busch Gardens Williamsburg's new for 2025 roller coaster was never mentioned. I can give a very slight pass for not mentioning Busch Gardens Williamsburg's new for 2025 roller coaster since the park gave 3 name options for it for people to vote on and the official name that won the poll hasn't been announced yet, but that's not a full pass, just a slight one as the roller coaster in general could have been mentioned. You could also mention the vote (even though the voting period has passed) but at least mention the overall roller coaster. All of this aside, great video!

They really crapped the bed about naming that thing: _Wölfssturm, Wölfsreign_ and _GeisterWölf_ are the proposed names they want the GP to vote on. Not only do each of these use an umlaut (ö) incorrectly- purely for a German monolithic aesthetic- but two of them have Far Right connotations. "Wolf's storm" is self explanatory and the English word, reign, would be _reich_ in German. Meanwhile, _GeisterWölf_ is an obvious hash of Alpengeist ("Ghost of The Alps" and "Ghost-Wolf"). One of the few names that could work both in English and German could be _Wolfwhelpe_ (woolf-vwell-peh) "wolf-pup" but of broken grammar.

At what length of time does a roller coaster ride switch from entertaining to kind of painful, and what time to become just a boring flopping around exercise? I wonder if that has ever been tested. My guess would be around 5 minutes and anything past 10 would just be miserable and feel like a horrid air flight experience. What do you think and do you have any real sources I can use?

That's a good point. I think the exact time would vary drastically for each person. I prefer rides that are insane for short periods of time, compared to ones that are longer but start to become repetitive. I think a good comparison is Iron Gwazi VS Steel Vengeance - I actually prefer Gwazi.

@@coasterbot I came off of Dragon Khan at PortAventura thinking it was actually too long for that type of coaster acting on my aging body, and I'd have loved it if it had just ended after the 6th inversion, before the final pair of interlocking corkscrews. The fact that B&M never made another 8-inversion looper makes me think that I wasn't the only person who thought that.

The Coaster War days back in the late 90s-early 2000s were amazing. Everyone trying to set world records, Six Flags and Cedar Fair spending frankly foolish amounts of money to beef up whole parks. The coasters weren't always the best, but they were often very very big.
