I was lucky enough to be able to visit Sea World Abu Dhabi earlier this year, and I just want to say how much of an impact the theme park had on me. I was just so immersed each of the themed lands, and I was amazed by every animal I saw and attraction that I rode. I will never forget my visit there - definitely one of my favourite parks I've ever been to.

It looks wonderful. I just hope they don’t loose their emphasis on caring for the animals. I understand people wanting to see these animals but having worked in a zoo there is a lot of things that go on that people are never aware and they are not good things. It’s an expensive and demanding thing to provide a good habit for a variety of animals, the main word here is good. They require so many different things in their care that it’s a difficult task. The dugongs are endangered in many of their habitats and the other few places they are they are on the brink of endangered. I hope places like this can give them a great life and habitat so we don’t loose them completely. I don’t feel it’s a good thing for wild animals in captivity tip be petted and have constant interaction with people. Animals are very susceptible to illnesses and things we carry they would normally never come into contact with. I’m glad they don’t have any killer whales and I wish no parks had dolphins or killer whales. These mammals live in oceans and there is no tank big enough to make up for it. Maybe Epic will look into the dome ride.

@ As long as they take care of them in the facility they have built they will be fine. Most of the wildlife in these parks were born in captivity, others are rescued and/or being rehabilitated. If they can’t return to the wild they give them a home there.
@felipehurtado8850
@felipehurtado8850 3 күн бұрын
I really wish that this company sticks to the original comments they did during the construction of this park (caring for the health of the animals), but I doubt it a lot, because we are talking about a multi billion dollar company, these guys only care for profit. And yeah, I believe in this era we live in, a very very good way to do profit is by showing the public you’re “family friendly”. But I don’t see anything family friendly in depriving from liberty these animals that some are endangered or have really complex lives. I do believe that we are already winning by banning these people to depriving killer whales and some other species of marine mammals, but is clear that a lot of things are already shady enough to doubt about this park, but I also think we should give it time, to see how it evolves and what the scientific community can do to improve the animal’s experience in these facilities.

The penguins are the most questionable part of this park, animal ethics wise. The enclosures look standard for a highly accredited aquarium. The "enter a fish tank" bit is questionable, but with a big enough tank and good filtration, it wouldn't be much different than diving in a natural body of water.

Was here just this November. Spent an entire day in the park without doing any rides and still missed out on some of the things that you showed. The shows are great and everything is very well thought out. It seems like you missed the final show before closing at One Ocean (not the drone one). The 360° screen shows visuals from different parts of the world and that globe in the centre lights up that part of the world. And the surround sound makes it feel surreal. We had got a ticket with access to 1 park out of the 4 and decided to go with Sea World and it was just incredible! It was also my first time in a theme park and I'm glad I chose this one.

What a great price. Only $130.00 for the two park option. I love how visiting Dubai is actually affordable. Even plane tickets aren’t too bad. The only thing is I would want a nonstop flight. It sucks to take 22 hours to get to your destination after layovers, etc. id love to visit China and Hawaii as well, but without a stop for several days to a week in California, I would hate the flight time. I live on the east coast in Delaware and have always wanted to be able to afford a two week to three week vacation exploring the west coast and then either China or Hawaii. Galápagos Islands would also be so cool to visit, but I suppose the best way to do that is on a cruise. Though I hate to think of the environmental damage caused by the big cruise ships stopping there. Would still be an amazing experience. I usually go to an all inclusive in Mexico in either Cancun or the Mayan Rivera to the south. You can still find nine day stays in a nice junior suite with air for $1300 for one person. Everything is included. I swear it spoils you though because you get used to finding great prices like that and then when you go to plan something comparable you get shocked by the $2500 for one person it costs to say do Disney by yourself. Yikes.

After I have ridden Dance Macabre at Efteling, a Intamin Motion Stage, And Universal Studios and Disney have visited Efteling showing clear interest in that particular ride system, I think that is going to win. It can take 108 people at a time with a loading time of only 1 minute max, cause a staff member has a tablet at the entrance checking which seats are empty and filling those up with a software program, taking around 1200 people an hour. so I think parks will more likely to buy those. Dance Macabre including some €1.000.000 Garner Holt animatronics, cost around €35.000.000 in total. What do you guys think of it without spoiling to much of DM? But to be honest, Dance Macabre is the best thing Efteling build since Baron 1898, Personal opinion. I would love to see your opinions on it one day.

Praising a lack of Orca's whilst gushing over dolphins... It's somewhat tonedeaf.

SeaWorld Australia has never housed Orcas so Abu Dhabi is not the first! We were shocked to hear that they keep such huge animals in tiny tanks in the US, I’m really glad they don’t have any in this new park.

Sea World Australia is not a part of the same american chain of parks, so that is why that one does not count. they're run by Village Roadshow

Do you think that seaworld would ever invest to make the same park in Orlando? They can also add more rides to make seaworld a multi-day destination.
@CoasterStudios
@CoasterStudios Ай бұрын
Unfortunately I don't think so. This was a Miral investment- the SeaWorld Entertainment chain wouldn't spend this kind of money to build this- especially when they already have a park in Orlando. I think they'll instead focus on new additions for their current parks.
