Thanks to your channel, I am learning to knit flies, I am very grateful for the excellent presentation of content, in Ukraine, few people are engaged in fly fishing, so I have to learn through KZbin

Staying at fyn on the moment for a family vacation. Fishing the evenings and it is awesome! Many 50+ seatrouts and even a 66cm pb! Thanks for the nice tie , greetings.

Just tied this fly with an Ahrex hook SA250 which turned out amazing! Digging the way the eyes are made, easy to adjust the size! I think the best flies are those who we believe in, and this is definitely that kind of a fly! For me, it is the best looking shrimp pattern!

Amazingly lifelike and great attention to detail. I'm sure that would be a great pattern over here in the UK for estuary Bass. Thanks for sharing, love your videos 🤘

Looks absolutely delicious. Only one question. How does it swim in the water ? Doesn't the resin on the shell back make it top-heavy and cause it to ride upside-down?
@Coastfly5 жыл бұрын
Chris Lantz not in such a small amount.. Also the hook point and gap acts as a keel and Will ensure it riding the right Way in the water.. 😊

Who makes the gel body that you used for the shell of the shrimp, I haven’t seen them before.
@Coastfly3 жыл бұрын
these are from "the flycompany".. :-)

What’s the shell , is it a preformed piece that you can get at the tackle shop, and do they come in different sizes ? I would like to try to make a larger size , 🤔👍🏼

Very nice fly🙏!! Question: what‘s the hook-Sice you use in the Video? And what‘s this shrimpback? Can‘t find it 🤷🏻♂️
@Coastfly4 жыл бұрын
The hook is a size 4 i believe and the shrimp back is from the fly co.. Pretty sure you can find them on nordicanglers.com but the best looking ones are from Pro sportfisher. They are in 3D and are probably the best shrimpbacks ever made..

Hello, I have been an editor for about twenty years. I have seen your shrimp montages and frankly, well done. I want to start editing them. However, could you tell me about the dubbings that I have difficulty finding? That would be great. Thanks in advance.

Awesome! I will try next days. Which size mono you use for ripping? Which hook from Ahrex is it? Best regards, Andreas
@Coastfly4 жыл бұрын
Andreas Haase i Think its .24 fluorocarbon and the hook is definitely the ns122 in size 4..

Nice fly! What size hook are you using? Always when I use uv glue it is sticky and unclear and not hard and clear like yours. I use gulff uv glue :/ What am I doing wrong?
@Coastfly5 жыл бұрын
Talos353 you probably arent doing anything wrong.. do you have the gulff lamp?
@Simgus885 жыл бұрын
If they still are a bit tacky after u used your uv lamp you can place them outside in the sun for a little while and they will get rock solid :)
@jussarabarreto3194 жыл бұрын

where do you get the ion tubes for the uv resin? do they clot? how do you clean them after using?
@Coastfly5 жыл бұрын
I just dry of the tube with a paper towel.. The rest in the tube runs back in to the bottle.. A guy from Germany actually send me the one I have after watching my channel.. I hope he reads this thread i know he sells Them on his HomePage but i have forgotten his name.. 😔
