I've been there last week with my daughters. It was huge fun and the staff is great. What i liked most: All coasters can be ridden when your child is 1.2m tall or above. This makes it amazing for smaller children that would be excluded on other rides. Highly recommended if you're a parent travelling alone with your children. Also great: its compact and everything is super easy to do and to reach. The app is very helpful and shows the actual waiting times on each attraction. We rode like 30 times that day until 9pm in the evening. Fønix has an awesome light show and they speed it up in the evening.

Great stuff. There's probably so much stuff to see if you guys ever return there. Like they have a whole obstacle course you can go through completely unattended and even risk falling into the water. Plus their waterpark is great. But yeah before Orkanen opened, you could actually do 2 different things around that lake. You could either go on a horseback ride around it on actual horses, or you could ride around the lake in a circuit on Jet skis! I think the Jet skis were an upcharge but the pony riding definitely wasnt. Also its funny how a fair few Vekoma clones originated at Fårup and were originally built for their terrain. Mine Expressen was only the 2nd ever ride of that layout. Orkanen was designed specifically around the lakeside location in Fårup, same goes for Saven, and now Fønix might also be a layout that's gonna get cloned.
@drdewott91542 жыл бұрын
Also before I forget, this park also constantly receives awards! Like one of their big ones is being in the Top 3 of best amusement parks in Europe by The Kirmes & Park Revue and the Park World Excellence Awards. They're also famous for having several awards for best theme park staff in the world! Though Djurs too is giving them a run for their money, getting close to beating them a few times. And they pride themselves on this. Also in relation to what Sarah said, there definitely is something to it. Mostly because the majority of parks in Europe and especially northern Europe, unlike the US, are family owned or at the very least independent! Like Djurs Sommerland is family owned, Fårup is completely independent, Heck the only 2 theme parks out of the 12 or so in Denmark that aren't independent or family owned are Legoland Billund, which is owned by Merlin Entertainment, and BonBon land, which is owned by Parques Reunidos, the same guys that own Bobbejaanland, Kennywood, Movie Park Germany, Tusenfryd, and many other places. And just like Djurs, this place started out essentially as an outdoor FEC with canoes, trampolines, ponyback riding, and playgrounds on a former farm. They just went and made the whole property wooded and gave themselves a forest theme and made animated commercials for their rides of woodland creatures like deers, badgers, and hedgehogs going in and around on all of the rides after dark. Like I still have their old theme song in my head! Halløjsa kom så med! Så tager vi afsted! Der er så fuld af sjov inde i en skov!

Sure, I mean now that height clearance aren't a major issue and they don't have to stick to below 66ft, I can totally see a "Mini" Dive coaster in a similar vein to Baron or Valkyria working well there... Or a tilt coaster if they wanna go crazy with Vekoma again.
@Jacob-Simonsen2 жыл бұрын
@@drdewott9154 What they really need, is something like Kondaa..
@drdewott91542 жыл бұрын
@@Jacob-Simonsen Really? Are you sure? They already have an airtime machine with Falken and a tall but basic thrill ride with Fønix. Plus Fønix is already the tallest coaster in the country, I don't think they're keen on taking that title on again so soon. They gotta enjoy the crowds that come from having the country's largest roller coaster until a competitor like Djurs outdo them. Then MAYBE something like Kondaa can be on the table. But even then in the meantime I see something a bit more gimmicky and unique like a dive coaster or a flying coaster make more sense.
@me-myself-i787 Жыл бұрын
I think B&Ms are too expensive for a filler coaster for a park of this size. But they could get a Vekoma Tilt coaster, or maybe a Vekoma Flyer.

I think they're both chipping in for these. But the effort is a bit higher due to the nature of these vlogs. It's noticable - but I'm fine with normal vlogs not having quite this level of production. I imagine it takes so much more for this quality.

6:15 I'm surprised he keeps it so accurate, usually those G Force recorder apps just aren't super accurate or when you move your phone around like when it's in your pocket even a little, that will greatly affect it. -1.1 G is ejector and it makes sense it got under 4 Gs positive cause this compared to Lech Coaster is nowhere near as intense. Also a small effect is if the pop of airtime is very abrupt, it might be stronger negative Gs when you have a tighter restraint, the overall airtime and how much you are coming out of your seat won't be as much with a tighter restraint but you are being whipped down more which means stronger negative Gs.
