Shalom Bryan, the 24 elders has been mystery to many. Studying the DSS has made it very clear, the 24 elders are the 24 priests David established in 1 chronicles 24. From Jehoriab to Maaziah they run the temple and the calendar, every week a priest of that order serves starting at Gamul and in 6 years all 24 divisions would serve 13 times. In a perfect 52 week calendar all 24 divisions serve perfectly and the leap week also keeps them in order. The name of God in the Zadok Calendar is also because of the 24 divisions and how many times they serve on the feast days in 6 year cycles

Excellent insight about the 24 Elders! About the fulfillment of Spring and Fall Feasts, with the blood passing down to the covering of the Ark of the Covenant, Yom Kippur was also fulfilled. Pesach is a Prophecy of the Wedding, so there is more yet to be fulfilled, for it is the Prophecy of the Marriage of the King and His Queen [Mizmor 45] and it is a Spring Wedding.

Sukkot is especially the prophecy of the wedding. Among the 24 elders are at least 12 apostles and John the Baptist, who is in my opinion also the prince in the millennium (Ez. 46:16-18). Math. 24:27 Then answering, Peter said to Him, Behold, we left all things and followed You. What then shall be to us? 28 And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, You who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of man sits on the throne of His glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Rev. 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Math. 11:11 Truly I say to you, Not has arisen among those born of a woman any greater than John the Baptist. But the least in the kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is. Ez. 44:1 And he brought me back the way of the gate of the outer sanctuary, facing east. And it was shut. 2 And Jehovah said to me, This gate shall be shut; it will not be opened. And a man shall not enter by it, because Jehovah, the God of Israel, has entered by it; so it shall be shut. 3 As for the prince, as prince he shall sit in it to eat bread before Jehovah. He shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, and by his way shall go out. - Green's Literal translation

It is my understanding that all of the feasts, including the Marriage of the Lamb, have been fulfilled with the destruction of the temple and the Old Covenant system in AD 70. Those who can grasp this can celebrate their victory in Christ. We have the Tree of Life in our midst for the healing of the nations around us. Why else are Christians needed on earth?

@@Handlehandlehandle320 You wrote, "I can’t state that more politely, because you can sit blissfully unaware of the times and seasons, banking on this misinformed understanding." I couldn't blissfully embrace the futurist perspective while simultaneously claiming I take Jesus at His word. Here's one of His sayings that should question your contrarian claim that He hasn't returned in His generation as He said He would. "27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. 28 Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” - Matt. 16: 27 - 28. I took my questions directly to the Lord, not some modern scholar or teacher of orthodoxy. As promised, He revealed Himself and humbled me for the error of our understanding, which includes not only Futurists but also those of Preterists. So, I stand boldly, albeit uncomfortably, in the company of all those blissfully pushing their fallacies. The times and seasons we're living in are the New Covenant Age since Jesus now has legal authority over the kingdoms of this world. From Christ's advent in the 1st century until the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, He defeated the adversary (ha satan) that had taken hold of Judah ever since the Holy Spirit left the temple in Jerusalem, as Ezekiel saw in a vision. All of the Israelite feast days' significance came to pass. Jesus Christ is the seed of Israel, and the Kingdom is now His. To the Jews first and, since then, to the Greeks (Gentiles). Now, in the New Covenant, Christ reigns through His Body to defeat the rest of the adversaries from the nations and to bring healing to the world. We are His sanctuary, bride, kings, and priests of His Kingdom on earth. In Christ, we have our work cut out for us... while Futurists sit or run around blissfully, still awaiting some sensational showdown... I'm afraid, forever and ever. What is forever and ever is the New Covenant (Christian) age.

@49:25 - 1 Enoch is anchored on the idea of the "Bulls", which also shows up in the OT and NT (certainly Revelation). In 1 Enoch, this is especially true in chapters 83-90, especially chapter 86. Thus, what I see in the "ox" imagery is God asserting his unchallengeable dominion, even though they (the fallen bulls, sons of God) attempted to challenge in their rebellion, they were always doomed to failure. Here is God in Yeshua blasting away at the idea of his power and victory that was never in any danger of being toppled by some outside force of his own creation. The demonstration of power is stunning!

This is what I really like about these two! Specifically: "It is extremely important that we even translate with our Doctrine thrown out the door because our idea of how things should be is ... until ... we review this and say `Well it actually does line up with what I've been taught or not taught.' " The phrase "thrown out the door" is perhaps too strong. Rather, for years, I have thought of it as putting such things off to the side, far enough away that they don't distract me, but close enough that I can then bring them back and compare once I have the new data consumed, digested, and ready. I realize that this is a small and perhaps incorrectly nuanced point. I also realize that Janice is not suggesting that we utterly abandon our current set of beliefs, traditions, doctrines, and dogmas before we read, consume, digest, and understand the new data. So, I won't belabor the point. My larger point is that these two represent people who are not frightened of questioning what they've been taught and readjusting to new data because the ultimate goal is to know first-century Yeshua and not the Greco-Roman-mixed version we've been taught in Westernized Christianity. Note that I use the term "mixed" coupled with Greco-Roman. I do that because I understand that with the Reformation that certain underground Messianics (like the Waldenses) were able to come out of the shadows and assert upon the newly freed "church" some (not all) of what they had preserved for some 13 centuries. All in all-well done!!!

Rev. 4:8 is a very important verse. That's how we know YHWH's translitteration Yehovah: yihyeh = who will be (Yi) hoveh = who is (hov) hayah = who was (ah) Ye-hov-ah There is also other evidence for example the poem in Genesis 29:35: yadah + Yehovah = Yehudah Gen 29:35 LITV: “..This time I praise Jehovah. So she called his name Judah...”

47:59 you offer an interpretation of what the appearance of the four creatures represents (the lion, the ox, the man, and the eagle). I would like to share with you an interpretation that seems to me to be more connected to other 'tetramorphs' in scripture. Clearly, these four creatures symbolize something about God such that they show up repeatedly in scripture (Revelation and Ezekiel), almost like a royal coat of arms with symbols representing something about the one seated on the throne. These four creatures even have symbolic parallels with the four colors in the priestly garments. In Exodus 39, the priestly garments are described in great detail, and they bear four colors: • Purple • Scarlet • Plain Linen • Blue And lastly, we have four the Four Gospels: • Matthew • Mark • Luke • John It appears that all of these sets of four things communicate something really profound about the identity of the Messiah. *The Lion / Purple / the gospel of Matthew signify Royalty-The Messiah is a king* The Lion has been known since antiquity as the king of the beasts. Purple has been known since antiquity as the color of royalty. Matthew's gospel has a special emphasis on the Messiah as King. Not only does it follow Joseph, from whom Jesus inherits the rights to David and Solomon's throne, but it gives his genealogy (Matthew 1:1-16) showing him to be the heir of Solomon and David, and has various subtle emphases that show Jesus to be the king, such as the visitation of the Magi giving him the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, to recognize him as the King of the Jews (Matthew 2:1-12). *The Ox / Scarlet / the gospel of Mark signify Servanthood-The Messiah is a servant* The ox is a beast of burden that serves its master. Scarlet (or red) is the color of shed blood, symbolizing sacrifice, especially in conjunction with the ox being an animal that is sacrificed. And the gospel of Mark has a subtle emphasis on Jesus being the servant, with several allusions to the prophecy of the Suffering Servant (Isaiah 52:13-53:12). (Mark 9:12, 10:45) *The Man / Linen / the gospel of Luke signify Humanity- the Messiah is a human* Plain linen is used to symbolize mankind, as it can be dyed to be either red or purple, to be a king or a servant. Luke's gospel emphasizes the humanity of the Messiah; it speaks of him growing in wisdom and stature (Luke 2:52), and follows the thoughts of Mary, from whom Jesus got his humanity. It speaks of the time when he was a child at the temple (Luke 2:41-52), and various other such details. Also, the genealogy in Luke goes all the way back to Adam, whereas Matthew does not go back further than Abraham. By tracing Jesus' genealogy all the way back to Adam, Jesus' humanity is emphasized. *The Eagle / Blue / the gospel of John signify Divinity- the Messiah is God* The eagle in flight soars in the sky; blue is the color of the sky, synonymous with the heavens, representing divinity. John's gospel has a much greater emphasis on the divinity of Christ compared to all the others, especially in its opening words (John 1:1-5), and in the various instances where Jesus replies to people by saying "I am". For example, in John's account, when the Romans and the Sanhedrin come to arrest Jesus, they ask who is Jesus, and Jesus says "I am", and they all fall back upon him saying this. (John 18:4-8). Also, in John 8:48-59, Jesus declares "before Abraham was, I am", in one of the most explicit claims to divinity in the gospels. That's what the four creatures appear to symbolize: they stand about the throne of God, showing the four aspects of the Messiah in symbolic form.

@42:36 "Sea of glass like amethyst" ... just like the previous verse, the amethyst is purple. If "sea" is a gathering of people (us, believers), then what is the purple? Perhaps what he is seeing are believers who have been clothed in royal garments or who are reflecting the color of royalty. Either way-I don't think this is what these people (sea) are standing on. I think it is they, themselves that John is seeing. From a distance, the billions of royal family members would appear as a sea and that they are royally dressed or reflective would make them appear purpose (amethyst).

David Pawson once told an interesting fact about precious stones, which can be divided into two different groups. Gemstones belonging to the second group refract the laser beam into the colors of the rainbow and the other gemstones do not. According to Pawson, the gems mentioned in the Book of Revelation belong to the category that refracts light into the colors of the rainbow: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGqsanyIisx4eM0

Okay, if you go and draw out Moses’ time line of going out of Egypt, they came out on the eve of the 15 th day, of the 1st month, the 16th would be the first day of the week. It wasn’t called Sunday. The quail came on the eve of the 15 th day of the 2nd month, and the manna come on the 16 th day , the 1st day of the week. The next Sabbath would be the 22 nd day. In the 3rd month on the same day they left Egypt, the 15 th day of the 3 month, the Children were gathered. Messiah arose on the 16 th . Please note the Roman calendar of the day had 8 days in its week.

@47:20 In Roman imagery, the eagle is often depicted as flying or with its wings spread wide, symbolizing the vast reach of the Roman Empire. The eagle was also often depicted carrying a thunderbolt, a symbol of Jupiter, the king of the gods in Roman mythology, further emphasizing the power and authority of the empire. The point of this comment is to frame the Greco-Roman interpretation that would frame the Greek translator, especially those at the time of Constantine and beyond who would want to (like the KJV translators dealt with King James in their interpretation) appeal to the sensibilities of the Roman emperor as he would like to see himself as the lead imager of the empire being fashioned in the likeness of Christianity. Not that Constantine was a "Christian" or follower, or believer, but that he was a man trying to facilitate the emergence of a new Roman Empire by using Christianity, but reframing it to fit his power and purpose. Thus, the "flying eagle" image would conjure up "Empire" and "Emperor" in the mind of a Greco-Roman reader or hearer. Also, the eagle is a symbol that continues to be used in the Roman Catholic Church. It is often associated with St. John the Evangelist, representing the height he reached in his gospel. In art, St. John is often depicted with an eagle, which symbolizes the lofty, soaring and "spiritual" nature of his writings. The eagle is also said to symbolize the resurrection of Christ because the ancients believed that the eagle would renew its plumage and its youth by flying near the sun and then plunging into water. While these Roman Catholic gymnastics are an attempt to spiritualize the matter, they are (in fact) an obfuscation of the reality of the history, where the Roman Church is just a re-imaged Roman Empire.

@@and071166 the harvest system per the calendar during Yeshua’s time was backbone of the calendar. God was the provider of a good harvest and crops. And the first fruits of every harvest a portion went to the temple to be give to God. There were three main big first fruits offering along with little ones for the smaller crops and farmers. But the tree main ones was the Barley harvest which was the first Sunday after Passover. The next was the first wheat first fruits harvest at Pentecost. And then again at tabernacles a fruit and second wheat harvest. So it certainly makes sense that there would be multiple first fruits.
