Sunny weather and a breeze is perfect hiking weather for me too and that looked a great hike, great to see the ponies too. The views soon opened up one you got passed the first section and great views they were too but man I hate false summits. If you wanted a seat with a view you would be hard pressed to beat that view, it looked great. On a warm day I always tale 2 - 3 litres of fluid with me, heavy but so needed of a hot day, cheers Alan

Ahh, now there's a familiar route! 😊 Nice one John.. good to see you adventuring up that way. Yeah, that initial climb, with its false summits up to the top of Yellowslacks is a bloody killer isnt it!! 🥴 Its a good route though, once youre up, youre up and its over and done with.. quite a steady stroll all the way to the top of Bleaklow then. Stunning place where you sat isnt it. Brilliant. 👍💚

Thanks , yeah its a bit of a climb! I might go round to Bleaklow next time , and bring at least 2 litres of water if its hot , It is great for walking Glossop , easy routes at the bottom and harder ones higher up , take care 🦇🦇🖤🖤

Never knew that place existed! I learn something new.........looks so beautiful, remote and wild........one of those days you remember mid winter in the cold and rain to warm your heart! Sad that the nice weather brings out the idiots......somthing I experienced too around there; not that moving down south made that much difference but living in London seemed to be more tolerant of the alternative. You have a great attitude and are a real role model setting a good example; I seemed to loose all my confidence in who I was due to 'incidents' like that and took a long time to get back. Thank you for the lovely video and chat; take care 🌛🌝🌜

Yeah its a massive area the dark peak , very wild and can be very difficult terrain . Glossop area is very alternative these days so never had negativity there , Most negativity seems to come from areas with high poverty and low education sadly , although you do get snobbery and prejudice in well to do areas. Its very rare I get it these days , just in heatwaves? 😂😂 .Sadly alternative youngster's/females get the brunt of idiotic verbal negativity when they are at a venerable sensitive stage in their lives , so I do think the idiots are basically bullies .Thank you Gilly and take care my friend 🖤🖤🦇🦇

Nice walk John. And finally you reached the true top there. The horses looked beautiful and had shiny coats. Hope you can find more gigs to watch before November. Have a wonderful evening and cheers 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇

I was just about to say that doesnt match the map John, but I see someone else has already spotted that. The glorious weather makes such a difference - what were the midges like? I was out last week and didnt notice any but Ive been bitten all over!

Yeah I thought it was cock hill for years. its yellowslacks lol , really nice location. the weather can be the difference between heaven and hell there , so glad it was nice. I didn't notice any midges there , they don't ever seem to go for me , might be the patchouli oil 🤣🤣. Best wishes Phil 🦇🦇🖤🖤
