Funny you ask that I was going to ask him that because I think cockatoos are not like regular Birds they're mostly I think for communicating not flying except maybe when they get scared makes thanks sense because so far that's the only time I've really seen them fly is when they get scared or if you lift them up off the bed and let go

Hey Dan usually you are only supposed to keep it covered for 2 hours after getting tattood,then uncover was with antibacterial soap & then about 3/4 hours after that unscented lotion. Lotion saved times a day & don't pick scabs but should be healed up in 2 weeks. Just took my son 2 weeks ago to get a in memory tatt ( lighthouse ) for his mom mom to Eddie's in center city Philly. It's where we normally go for our tatts.
