I always love hearing the engines spool up and feeling the plane speed up and push me into my seat. For some reason I get excited like I am in a sports car. I also always think about the pilots up front saying "V1" and "Rotate" as the plane is about to lift off. Fun.

Rather putting all of your money into a Bank or Building Society why not "prepay" for your Pilot Training with a Written Contract that the amount agreed will get you your CPL/IR or Frozen ATPL ? In the long run Flight Training Schools love this and most of them are quite reputable and will honour the Written Contract even if you struggle (like I did) with Ground School calculations on asymmetric thrust on EACH engine of say a 737-800 in the event of engine out upon take off.

Hi! Great episode, awaiting more. I'm sure you've put huge effort to create it so much fun, with those changes of viewpoint. Keep on, very good work. * just there are studio (might be home stuidio) shots - if you could please try using different microphone or any soundproofing in the room? Quite a lot of echo is heard.
@OzzIRIS5 жыл бұрын
Also, I got 2 questions: 1st: how do you calculate your extra fuel in case you need to do a "go around" or some desviation due to weather conditions or any other reason? Which is the minimium extra fuel estimated? 2nd: what is that "black and white" wheel between you and Viktor? in the video is near "flap down" sign. I've seen that sometimes it moves by itself. Thank you in advance!
@a_tanas5 жыл бұрын
@@OzzIRIS HI Daniel, 2nd is easy: stabilizer trim wheel is in the middle, it turns when the big tail surface changes its angle and is mechanical backup if the electrics/hidraulics fail. The 1st is complex, but both topics were covered by Mentour pilot. Well Mentour's videos have other style, it's not that much entertaining, more academic. All of them Maria and Victor and Mentour and Cpt Joe and pilot Maria make awesome videos.

At 12:44...why did the captain pull down the landing gear lever halfway down?
@mikep96044 жыл бұрын
In the middle is OFF position, and when the lever is at this position the hydraulic pressure is removed from the system, and the landing gear settles to the mechanical uplocks.
