Happy New Year Captain and crew...not sure what a butter landing was, so after looking at your video , I had to look up the meaning for myself....but once again, you gentlemen are so professional, you do your jobs so expertly....rain or shine...I certainly admire that....I wish you all the best of Health and Happiness going forward into 2021. Great landing Captain, as always, thank you for sharing...
Wonderful to see your first 2021 video. Thank you for being such a great pilot Captain. I’ve wondered whose decision is it for landing or go around at minimums, the Captain or the pilot landing? I’m sure I heard Captain say landing while the First Officer was the landing pilot. Perfect and beautifully executed landing video to start 2021. Thank you my sweet Captain. All the best to you in 2021. ❤️U😎 ראשית לבי מדלג על פעימה ואז הלב שלי נמס לחלוטין זה מה שקורה לי כשאתה טס על הטלפון שלי אוהב אותך תמיד

Very nice and smooth landing....and usual with every landing but ONLY when he is not the pilot landing, Mr. Captain cannot resist his OCD....always grabbing the auto-brake lever after activation 😂 First Officer flew manually for only 40 seconds, disconnecting the autopilot at about 500 ft.

Why do you constantly keep your hand on the controls? Let those pilots fly, they are good😉
@bsmith11643 жыл бұрын
I think it's the job of any Captain?. Wouldn't want him staring out the side window at the scenery!
@bojanradulovic46703 жыл бұрын
@@bsmith1164 I didn't say that he should be looking out of the side window. At this flight he is pilot monitoring, if he know that his first officer is experienced, and if he sees that everything is ok, then there is no need for that. Once, this captain was first officer and I'm sure that he didn't like somebody to touch his controls when he was doing everything right.
@WayCoolDog3 жыл бұрын
Nolan Radulovic- Happy New Year Nolan! The Captain is the one who is directly responsible to his employer for the safe operation of a multi-million dollar aircraft. He has to be at the ready to take control of the aircraft at all times. Sudden, unexpected things happen flying airplanes. The airplane is always the responsibility of the Captain. A smart Captain is always at the ready to take over the operation of the aircraft just in case it is needed. A really big responsibility for the Captain but that is his job. First Officers eventually become Captains and then the safe operation of an airplane becomes their responsibility. Hope you have a great 2021 Nolan.
@kylanm70533 жыл бұрын
The two men in the video are the pilots. the guy with his hand on the throttle controls is one of the pilots flying the aircraft
@bojanradulovic46703 жыл бұрын
@@WayCoolDog "Nolan" before all... With your logic, in that case he should keep his hand on the controls all the time , eaven with the autopilot ON because you never know what could happen. I can see that you are not a pilot so you don't know what I'm talking about. Happy New Year!
@cal78753 жыл бұрын
Captain’s hand on the yoke while the first officer is landing......... 🤦🏻♂️
@RV7FlyPer3 жыл бұрын
yeah - don't understand that either...
@WayCoolDog3 жыл бұрын
Because it is Captain’s responsibility to his employer for the safe operation of the multi-million dollar aircraft. Below 1,000’ it is the Captain’s duty to be at the ready to immediately take over the operation of the aircraft even if it is in auto-pilot mode. First officers do occasionally make mistakes. Do you remember in 2001 when the first officer used the rudder to the point where it snapped off the plane and the plane crashed in Queens, New York after taking off from JFK airport. Captains have full responsibility to their employer for the aircraft. Hope you understand what I’m trying to explain. I don’t know what the Captain could have done in the Queens crash because I don’t know if the Captain can tell if the rudder was being excessively used. In any case, that is why the Captain has his hands loosely on the yoke in the ready to take over the flight of the aircraft! Have a lovely Friday.
