@TheKatarinaGiselle11 ай бұрын
@@briankissel7661 in the 1970’s it lost the last ‘r’ and became a term of approval for tough, confrontational style. In the late 90s-2010’s it slowly became a term used for anybody tough, determined, and badass- both just in their confrontational style or how they associate with others, but in their work ethic and at times when they execute something most people wouldn’t expect of them. It is used since the 2010’s similarly , but even more loosely (basically the requirements have hit the floor). Obviously gangster isn’t a term we should be glamorizing or making it sound “cool” because thousands of people die, often much too young, due to gang violence. And certain words really shouldn’t lose their original meaning when it is still actively ongoing- in this case the gang lifestyle and criminal activities. Just pointing out the history of how the word has evolved within terminology of societal norms over time.

The algorithm wanted to make me feels nostalgic today. I lived in Sitka growing up and my family brought a few injured eagles to the raptor center. People who haven't been to southeast Alaska couldn't imagine the number of eagles we have. You can find up to 20 sitting in a single tree in the summer.

One day I was laying out in the sun on a raft in the lake and an Eagle flew over our houseboat after some ducklings that were in front of us!!!!! We had a 16 ft wide houseboat and that Eagle’s wingspan was that wide or more!!!!!!!! If you have never seen a Eagle in person, you haven’t lived!!!!!!!
