Just my go-to lens for drink photography but you do not need one to get the shot!

@@cocktailcamera well, "nick and nora glass" I got the movie reference (I am a few years older than you haha) , but maybe that is the actual name. I did a photo shot in mexico with a factory that hand engraved cool glass ware, I also like vintage glass ware and props, and looking at the glass you used in this video, didnt see like something from the dollar store. as you specialize in cocktail photography I assume you like to hunt out glasses and other props to add more "dimension" to your work. and would love to hear about your fav props and finds, maybe it is even video worthy either way, thanks, enjoying your videos!

How would you go about doing this in a bar environment where you need ambient light\bartender in background? What settings would you look to set?

To be honest, I don’t think I’d do this in a bar environment. But if you want to try and get more of the scene / background in the shot, i’d probably light the background with a second strobe vs. trying to let in more ambient light. 💡
