Did you know a long time ago, people thought starlings were telepathic? Turns out their secret is that they just follow a couple simple rules when flying... keep track of your 7 nearest neighbors, and if they make a turn, follow them.
@franl1556 жыл бұрын
lol it'll pass for telepathy for now! what gets me is the speed of reaction; they seem to turn as one, no delayed reactions when they see another bird start to turn and then start to turn themselves; in which case there'd be a ripple effect down the flock.

FACT: Whether you like it or not, the European Starling is a Non Native, highly Invasive species of bird improperly introduced into New York city in 1890. From the year 1890 until 2022 Starlings have flourished in the United States to over 200 million by today 's calculations. According to USDA Starlings cause an estimated $ 400 Million dollars damage to U.S. Agricultural crops causing inflation of food prices at the super market. Also, I remember as a teenager in high school, watching the national news on TV one evening with my DAD (on or about 1960), We saw an Eastern Airlines passenger plane take off from the airport in Boston. A flock of Starlings like the one in your video flew into the plane's airway jamming both engines. The plane promptly went down and crashed. 62 people died. I will never forget it as long as I live. True Story. Daniel
@SheenaRea Жыл бұрын
As of 2021, there have been 618 hull losses and 534 fatalities due to bird incidents with planes. The birds/raptors were geese, gulls, shorebirds, eagles, hawks, and some migratory birds. In 1960 it was a flock of starlings. Pilots take precautions to avoid bird migratory patterns but still end up having accidents. Maybe the problem isn't the birds, but the planes.

Beautiful and absolutely amazing! Those were the biggest and most gigantic air shows. Our creator really showed us what he can do. Because of evolution, mindless coincidences and mindless mutations! Now we kill the insects, fish and birds with our smartphones and poisons. Contaminate air, water, seas and soil !. With all the poison, climate change and 5G, it's our turn in the near future! Small minds teach in universities (so-called biology professors): “There is no creator! Plants, animals and we humans are the result of mindless coincidences and mindless mutations ”. National Geography also supports these small minds. The theory of evolution, which conveys this analogously, has been refuted thousands of times by true scientists worldwide. Undeterred, it continues to be imposed on our children, wasting valuable teaching time and taxes. The whole point of ET is; to purposefully keep our children and young people away from their creator. With so much unreasonableness, the near end is no wonder.

The hear a Murmur sounds weird and to see a Murmur is awesome but to know a Murmur is a double wonder, yet I wonder, are there any like minded minds to be discovered because of this natural spectacle in the skies? I am amazed at the academic attempts to mathmaticalize the Murmuration and scientists who try to scientificize the Murmuration, and Biologize it and yet others try to Survivalize the awe inspiring antics as safety in numbers escaping the hawks. And yet others theorize and still others offer their tidbits of tactical theology for religiosity intrusion offering golden delusion brick in the wall to amplify the Absolute Certainty of their belief on behalf of their choice myth and so I asked myself: "Self", I queried, what's going on here? Am I the smartest person in the world, the only person in humanity who actually knows the murmuration; and is that knowledge by some a priori knowledge, why it is, how it's done?' I hesitate to think this way because the murmur is so obvious it does not seem like an uncanny spiritual revelation, yet why doesn't anybody else know a murmur when they see it? I think I must be the only who knows and everybody else merely believes while looking for a model to fit their conclusive belief. As I read the commentaries it seems that I alone have the key to knowledge of this awesome spectacle, how should I share the wonderful reason, the wonderful explanation with the rest of mankind? Shall I write a book and describe the art of the Murmuration of discovery; actually, I would not say discovery of knowledge of Murmuration because I always knew exactly what the Murmur was just as I always knew there was no Santa Clause as a young child of 4 or 5 years of age. But the discovery that I alone have the knowledge seems too unreal to be true. Does anybody actually KNOW the how's and why's of the Murmuration? I would love to hear from you if you know. I never thought that this was important until just this very week in 2018. I thought everybody knew what I know. And now I know they don't. Huh!

@@blucat4 Thank you for your communication. The Book is already written, it needs only category organization, Indexed, edited and published however, I am not there yet. Do you know what formulates the Murmuration rhythm? Or are you dissatisfied than someone else knows because you do not? Please, don't be a ghoulish grouch about it. Be gentle and unyieldingly kind, ask politely, knock humbly, seek patiently and the spirit, in response to that man's may release knowledge that supplants belief and sets you free as only knowledge can. “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth looking for a man whose heart is perfect toward him”? Not a perfect man. And as he looks throughout the whole earth, his eyes moving to and fro that he might find a man whose heart being perfect toward him, continues that verse, so that he in response in faithfulness to that man’s faith may show himself as God Strong on that man’s behalf. He’s simply saying, “Give me please, any boy, any girl, any man, any woman, any where, who’ll let me be, in the man. And the truth, of knowledge, will set you free.

@@bboccanada8557 No worries, anytime. Why do I feel the book will never be seen? (As in there is no book.) No, I don't know. Nothing I said was ghoulish, and only just a tiny bit grouchy. I put a happy face at the end. :-) And now I MUST go to sleep, sooo tired, message ends ..
@bboccanada85573 жыл бұрын
@@blucat4 Hello blucat4. I really like your reply. I also admit, ghoulish, was rather strong but inaccurate embellishment on my part. It was in the spirit of the moment you understand. So with that declaratory, you deserve to know the simplicity of the majesty of nature and the natural interaction of play in the kingdom. We see play in the kingdom in lots of examples but most evident in the children of humanity, puppies of dogs, kittens of cats and we see it in adults as well, playful dolphins, spinning around when jumping out of the water tumbling in mid-air to splashdowns. Oh what fun. Since childhood I was amazed with wind and its various aspects of speed, gentleness of breezes, the to and fro of blowing through hair and watching it blow through the hair of others in wisps and puffs, stillness, another puff and of course the hair reacting to the random breezes of wind. I watched the tall grass in the hay fields and noted the waves of winds and the seemingly constant speeds of the waves brushing over the golden grains while amongst the waves there appeared sprinkles of deviations, swirls amid the waves almost like a separate entity not unlike a herd of buffalo running across the plains with pockets of the smaller packs dispersed within the adult packs, and this was of course the calves running alongside. And so it seems there were little kid-winds and baby-breezes mixed and intermingling; and yet, all the while the wind and breezes, the wisps and the swirls, the tails, the expansion of air bubbles, the shrinkinhg of the bubbles, the crazy eight configurations are never actually seen because they are invisible. The only time we seem see pseudo winds and pseudo breezes is by the effect they have on other things like your hair, like tree branches and OMG tornado type destructive powers…….. And then I marveled so, when I was able to see apparent wind and breezes and awesome configurations of shape-oblongs, skinny slithers, and balloon-like ovals, pulsating here and pulsating there, and then; it was amazing to see the winds and breezes and shapes through the murmuration of play when the birds flocking together and together letting the wind carry them on wings completely the sport of every beeze, like the tilt ‘o’ whirls and roller coaster at the fair. So when I see a murmuration I see birds playfully enjoying their random yield to the nature of wind allowoing only their wings to let the breeze take them in delightful paths through the atmosphere that we cannot see but for the reaction of smoke, and clouds and dustdevils and yes, blucat4, murmurations. And blucat4 knowing the reality of murmurations in itself, is an awesome reminder of the beauty of unseen nature but for mirror reflection interaction of other visible parts and it’s why all the airports have wind socks, themselves the sport of every wind. The way you see things from this moment on will never be seen the same as it was seen yesterday, no magnetism, although invisible magnet forces was another awesome discovery since school when we sprinkled iron filings on paper atop magnets underneath and then again the invisible became visible murmurations of patterns. And the invisible you and I, in thought, on the inside is similar and cannot be seen save for the physical, visible action of behavior and emotion. Take care. It’s nice to share good with others, skepticism notwithstanding, when new, unthought thoughts, stimulate the neurons in revelation like when a teacher opens the mind of a student and suddenly you get it and it changes your life. Teachers are heroes as much as students who learn are heroes.
