I have used your recipe for coconut macaroons (from years ago) and I’ve never looked back. The cookies are not overly sweet, with a slight crunch on the outside and yet soft inside. Utterly delicious! Thank you for all your amazing recipes, Stephanie.

I’ve tried many coconut macaroon recipes and this one is my favorite! I like that it has flour to give it a more cookie taste. Without flour, it just taste like only sweet coconut flakes, which is still good, but the flour makes it have a more cake-like texture. I tweak this recipe a little with more flour and less coconut flakes, to achieve that texture. I end up with crispy exterior with a soft cookie like interior. Absolutely delicious!

Stephanie, thank you for explaining to people they need three bowls, and the method, for separating eggs. So few people do it this way anymore. I was taught this method, too. After all, once in a while you might get a bit of yolk into the white, or even get a bad egg. The three-bowl method ensures you only lose the one egg, and not contaminate the whole bowl of egg whites if and when something goes awry. I enjoyed your last video of coconut macaroons, and this one, too. Great work! Thank you, Stephanie.

Hi Stephanie....just wanted to let you know I made your lemon cheesecakes and gave them to my brother to enjoy with his colleagues ( they are fire fighters here in the Netherlands) and they all loved them so much, they were going in for seconds ( I doubled up on the recipe). So thank you very much for your videos and now you know your recipes are enjoyed on the other side of the world, too.

I Made these today after searching for months for the best recipe and boy are they good. Exactly like you described them with the right amount of sweetness. Just perfect! Thank you

Fabulous Stephanie! Thank you for all your hard work! Explaining the difference between the unsweetened and sweetened coconut, and showing the cookie baked with sweetened coconut, compared to the cookie baked with unsweetened coconut. As well as the chocolates' cocao content being at 58%, and the taste of the chocolate being something you would eat and enjoy on its own. Very helpful, and time saving to the viewer. They look beautiful and delicious! I'm not a big fan of coconut --- but I have always loved coconut macaroons!

Thank you for the recipe! BTW - thanks for using metric system too. I'm from Poland and sometimes I find American recipes really confusing. Just few days ago I heard for the first time about butter sticks. My first reaction: WTF is 1 1/2 butter stick!? 8-| There was a time when Polish recipes used just "package of butter", but situation had changed when dairy producers decreased size of the package from 250 g to 200 g. So now everything is in grams. :-)

Hi Stephanie! Have a question for you. Would it be ok to pulverize coconut shreds or flakes in the food processor? If so, how much pulverized coconut would I need for this recipe? My husband likes the taste of coconut, but hates the flakes, shreds, bits etc. I love coconut macaroons but don't make them because of my husband. Been watching you and your wonderful recipes for years and will tell you this, you explain everything so well and thoroughly that I never had a question for you until now; though my issue here is a matter of taste. Thanks in advance for your kind response sweetie! 🤗
