⁠@@MaxiemumKarnageDamn you really missed out then. TranZit is fun as hell co-op. It’s a “bad” map in technical terms but that’s kinda what makes it so fun with friends. You are all riding around on the bus racing not to get left behind, trolling each other with the bus doors/emps/hiding parts. On top of that most of the game you have barely any good weapons and perks which makes it pretty challenging. Honestly it’s a top tier co-op map if your goal is to have fun.

Tombstone can be good if you use it right. In tranzit, get the perks at every stop except town. Do it early in the game so you can survive without Jug. When you have 4 perks including Tombstone, down yourself in the town right before killing the last zombie, use the Tombstone so the drop spawns in, have your mates kill final zombie. When you spawn in, do not pick up the Tombstone drop right away. Pick up staminup first so you're quicker, book it to jug and buy it, then pick up the Tombstone drop. Boom you got 5 useful perks... welcome to tranzit 😂

I like TranZit for the creepy post apocalyptic atmosphere, especially as far the story was concerned and the creepy TV radio listening to other people’s POV of the what had happened to the world being blown up. Once upon a time in the old days of Black Ops 2 you could duplicate buildable wonder weapons by grabbing them at the same time as another player. This was fixed however when Origins was released to prevent multiple people holding the same staff.

Probably a very popular opinion but if transit came out today it’d probably be the greatest map all time. Bus route B was an intended feature there’s voice lines in files alluding to such and my theory which is almost confirmed is Nuketown zombies was originally supposed to be part of transit and bus route b takes you there. The fog wouldn’t have been a factor and therefore the denizens wouldn’t have been either, probably replaced with something less annoying that may be fun to fight. The bus was already good as is tbh the only change I can see is a relationship system with Ted where if you treat him good enough he never leaves you but if you treat him bad he leaves faster and eventually he just starts skipping stops, I feel this would be better as anything Ted does bad to you is generally your own fault. The Jett gun upgrade could be added that takes away it’s breaking and probably buff base Jett gun so it’s cool down isn’t as egregious however ik when you use it right it’s already op as is so idk if that’s really needed. There’s just very few players willing to learn the Jett guns curve for it to be good

I could be wrong but I think with the carpenter one, you would have to first go to all areas or most of them and then if you get a carpenter it will crash. he got a carpenter on round 2 so it only had to rebuild barriers in the bus depot area, since all other barriers were already built because he hadnt gone to them yet. So maybe once you visit all the areas, carpenters will either crash your game or wont spawn. Again, I could be wrong

On the matter of flaming zombies being weakened, I observed that on early rounds, the 1911 takes less shots to kill a zombie. If you try to do 8 leg-shots on round 1 and then knife, the 8 shots will kill the flaming zombie before you can knife, which makes sense if they're taking fire damage

Back in the day for earlier gaming a lot of devs just reused the same visual FX for multiple animations, so the pylon orbs in the mystery box imo is maybe just like "after Easter egg is done change [This] FX to look like [This]". Then all the animations that shared the same visual FX also got hit with the change on accident and thus all looked like the pylon orbs when playing. I doubt it was meant to show off that you did the Easter egg specifically and likely just an oversight if I had to guess.

In regards to xp-79 it’s truly an interesting plane, the test flight for a prototype glider of it was the first rocket propelled aircraft built by america which is truly innovative, not to mention the innovative design (even if it failed lol). Also, the xp-79 was not sufficient so they made an xp-79b which was the one the design that got 3 orders only 1 was completed and that one crashed. The parallels between 79/ 79b and bud route a/b is kind of interesting as well as the jet rocket almost being like a jet gun. Treyarch is actually kind of goated. And I hated tranzit, need to try tranzit remastered after watching this. And lastly I’m probably crazy for this part but the pilot of the crashed xp - 79 does seem to resemble ted the bus driver lol

Apparently Skrillex's Try It Out AND Avenged Sevenfold's Unholy Confessions were both found in the game files of Tranzit, so the fact they neither of them ended up being the easter egg song is kinda wild. My theory is that both songs were considered, but the artists ultimately decided that Tranzit wasn't the right map for it, as Try It Out is in the multiplayer map, and Avenged Sevenfold's other song Shephard Of Fire is the easter egg song in Origins

You’re able to make the bus take off from its stop faster if you knife tedd just knife him and when you feel like he might drop a quote that’ll indicate you getting kicked off step back into the middle of the bus so it’ll shove you into the side of the bus instead of off the bus. After knifing him so many times he’ll start the bus.
