Charles: a victim of a world of lies, surrounded by siblings all fighting for power. Also Charles: goes on to have tons of kids, who are also fighting for power... shouldn't he have only had one if he was sick of the world of lies? Or better yet, NONE? If you're sick of the world, maybe don't try to repopulate it...? Or at least don't reproduce the exact same conditions you claim to hate. Since that creates resentful children who may end you. Though, what really gets me is Lelouch spent all this time trying to avenge his mother, never realizing what a crap parent she was. So either he was blinded by love, or she was pretending to be a loving mother. I don't know what's worse, abandoning the kids or being there and not giving a crap about traumatizing them. How about, I don't know, making them FORGET seeing their mother's murder if you cared at all about them? If Marianne cared at all about her kids then Anya would have shown up three episodes into Season 1. Look how long it takes instead. That's a crap mom.
