Something to understand. All Geass abilities are mental, in that they only effect the mind. No Geass has a direct physical effect, side effects may vary. Rolo isn't stopping time so much as he is stopping peoples *perception* of time. Lelouch writes commands into a person's consciousness, the Emperor alters memories, and Mao (guy from season 1) could read thoughts. No one gets super strength, speed, teleportation, or laser vision. In the show Geass is called "the Power of the King", or in other words the power to sway masses, command armies, and render judgments.

17? Y'all missed a few details in the first season, when it was established that the emperor has well over 100 children. Nunnally was revealed to be the 87th in line, with sister Marrybel being even lower in line.

King has 17 children. Just because you are a prince or princess doesn't mean that you will be earlier in line for the throne. Queens and Other royal members, even Royal advisors are in the line. Maryanne was a commoner at birth so her children have less priority. Especially for Nunally because she is a girl. It's in the British royal family too.

The kallen fanservice/ the opening episodes being similar to season 1 is because when the anime got its second season it was pushed to a more mainstream audience/ time slot. Its why they had to rehash the first season and forces to include fan service even more because anime fans are pervy and lecherous

Clamp (the female team you're probably thinking of) designed the characters but they weren't the animation team for the show. I believe there were only a couple female animators on the staff including Reiko Iwasawa and Yuriko Chiba
