It's pretty funny that the people who sung the Brazilian Portuguese theme song aren't Portuguese singers and it impresses me of how much of a good job they did singing that version.

@A Guy Who's Into A Whole Bunch Of Things I'm guessing they were the Latin Spanish singers..I notice a lot of similarities in their voices and the voices in that dub xD They did a swell job, though. Even though I'm not a native of Portuguese myself.

OMG I’ve forgotten about this show! I used to see this a lot on Cartoon Network. Didn’t realize it was originally a French Cartoon at the time. I gotta try watching this series again in the future, as I never finished the series. o.o From the dubs listed, I’m surprised the Czech dub wasn’t too bad here, so it became an early favorite for me. English is my childhood version and it’s my most favorite of the bunch not only because of nolstalgia, but also the syncing and voices were well put together. French sounded great here, along with Greek, Hebrew, Japanese, Polish, and Serbian. It’s really cool to see something in Sinhalese, as it’s very rare to see this dub. :)

There's a moderately small community of people who enjoy the show, still, and have even made some multilanguages and such about it. I may be biased, but I kinda knew it was French when I first saw it xD A lot of Chinese/Asian viewers didn't recognise it was French since I've heard that some guy stole the cartoon and dubbed it in Chinese and claimed it was his - so some people believed it was a Chinese show.

@Alexandra1 PSN Girly Shows and Nintendo Games Fan Also there are lots of gems here. I love pretty much every dub in the video besides Latin Spanish/European Portuguese/Castilian Spanish/Catalan/maybe Greek. Sinhalese was surprisingly good - as well as some other versions, which were just above average at best. I never really got into the show myself, although it has a really catchy opening theme - perfect for a multilanguage admittedly.

@@ayumiis Well, personally, I've grown to somewhat like it overtime. Although originally I didn't really like the way the singer sung the 'Code Lyoko' parts. They sounded a bit strange to me. Although honestly, the singing is a lot better in the parts of the song in between the 'Code Lyoko' lyrics.

@French Baguette Late reply, but yeah xD I was pretty surprised to find out that French was the original as well. Some have thought that this cartoon originated in China, since it's been stolen from France I believe and distributed from China for many viewers.

The Sinhalese dub is reallyy recent. There are also Turkish and Italian dubs with undubbed theme song. There is a (spanish??) or Galician theme song on my channel. I truly don't know i just think It's maybe dubbed Galician? I remember downloading it from somewhere.

@Vigor The Sloth I heard that the Chinese dub is illegal as some guy stole the cartoon and his team dubbed it - and licensed it all through China. If you look at the comments of the Chinese intro, you'll see many people that don't realise that the show isn't Chinese, instead French. Maybe that's why it has only one season, but I can't tell for sure.

It's kind of ironic, because China has probably one of the most iconic and influential histories as a country - yet they can't have their own style when stealing stuff from other nations? At least the Chinese dub here is good, but still.

You forgot portuguese of Portugal: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmetq6tml6qpnrs Here's an advice:it's better if you search the name of the show and then put "pt pt",like code lyoko pt pt,bc in every portuguese speaking country it means "Portuguese of Portugal".You can also have pt br(brasil) pt an(Angola) and so on... @AuraWarrior I have no clue. That's what I was wondering. It seems like the company that dubbed it, UltraTV or whatever, try to avoid copyright problems with their dubs. It's weird. The pitch the Serbian Code Lyoko theme is in isn't even that of Serbia's - which is PAL I believe.

It's not that "all" popular shows will get dubbed into every language. It's just that they dub some of the obscure shows into rare languages instead of popular ones cause the obscure shows are most likely cheaper to dub or something.
