As an individual who spent over a decade in federal prison for trafficking, I would like to point out that out of the hundreds of transactions I was involved in, none of them were in an abandoned warehouse, industrial complex, etc. Generally exchanges happen in extremely innocuous ways. For example: On many occasions I would drop off my vehicle at a body shop, take a loaner car to get food somewhere and return to pick up my vehicle later that day. To anyone who didn’t know what was going on, I just looked like any other customer who dropped off their vehicle and picked it up later. The movies always do that shit and I assume it’s because actual drug deals are boring and the likelihood of you seeing the money or the dope is extremely low which isn’t great for film… Anyway, I apologize for the lengthy comment. I just had to point out how ridiculous it is to think that people would conduct business in such a manner as what we witnessed in this “movie”.

That's wild bro, what about the strip club owned by the mob boss, or the goons sent to scare the woman at her home or seagal killing the boss with the sniper rifle Does that stuff happen IRL?
@jacksonbauer51994 ай бұрын
I’m not sure if you’re taking the piss here or genuinely asking me about my experience… I will respect you enough to answer your question earnestly, hopefully that’s acceptable. I was at best a low-mid level driver who was “hired” for his appearance, demeanor, spotless driving record (until the time I got pulled over carrying weight of course) and heavy heroin addiction. I never saw or heard of a “boss” within the “company” I was working for, but I also didn’t care as long as I got paid (usually 30% cash/70% dope). I have, unfortunately, witnessed individuals being visited by “goons” to do far worse than scare them (thankfully not women though). Lastly, I have never seen, heard or even read about a “boss” being eliminated at range with a precision rifle wielded by an amnesiac FBI agent… Dead people bring investigations and they don’t pay their debts. Those two things are the antithesis of what the business is about. I gladly got clean and straightened up my shit, but I did learn how to navigate a segment of society most people only know about because they watch television and movies. It sounds stupid, but it’s something I value more as I get older.
@luidiquique65494 ай бұрын
@@jacksonbauer5199 I apologize if my question did sound stupid, but I've seen it so many times in tv/movies that I've assumed it was real at least partially So basically not a single thing of all the stuff they show in series/films is real(even in "realistic" shows like Narcos from Netflix)? Anyways thanks for your patience

Also, the hard drive is supposed to be in this blue plastic tray that slides in that opening on rails. You are supposed to push 2 tabs on the side to remove it (see the hole on the right side of the tray). They got rid of the tray, so the perp can remove the hard drive with ONE hand. lmao This is an old Dell computer, circa 2008. It has a BTX motherboard (reversed). I kinda liked it back then. The heatsink is not that big. They had a bigger one that was a drop in replacement for this one. The bad thing about computers of this era, they had some faulty capacitors that bulged/leaked after couple of years. You were able to replace them, but it was a chore. Dell cases back then were much, much better designed than they are now. Today Dell is total crap, unfortunately.

So two things from a gun guy. And someone who likes to Google random shit. Appendix carry isn't unsafe, however carrying any gun in any position without a holster is unsafe and stupid. Secondly a .338 lapua at one mile has 96 feet of drop, so that sniping scene while exaggerated isn't really that far outside of reality. However if you were going to try and make that shot from that distance you would probably get higher and not basically shoot from the same level. He would basically have to hold so high over his target that he wouldn't be able to see him in his scope. I guess he could zero it at 1000 yards so he only has to hold 50 feet over instead of 95. Interesting choice, but living in SLC, it's BLATANTLY obvious how goofy this looks. Seagal literally teleported during that repelling scene. EDIT: Also wanna point out that the strip club Seagal is in is really in SLC. The name is the same, and the strip club is real. The exterior is NOT the strip club when he blows it up. It is true. Even the words that he makes up. Lol thank you friend!

My only fault is that I'm too humble. It was tough when coach Madden died recently. He really let the fellas be themselves.
@rentblop80703 жыл бұрын
This is so absurd. He was like 64 or something when he made this movie but his stunt doubles are basically half his age and it is soooo obvious. Seagal is stiff like a lamp post. Even if the stunt doubles actually had Seagals frame it would still look ridiculous. Imagine being on the set while he was filming the rope scene and then watching the final product.

2:16 the stunt double is so much thinner

You know what? I enjoy Seagal movies, I’ll admit it, they’re so bad they’re good.

Beiruttmifull Morning to you too, my good friend. Speaking of Seagal there was this movie called "One mans Justice AKA One Tough Bastard" 1996 starring Brian Bosworth. That movie, Could've easilly been a seagaly vehicle. Theres some "Aikido-ish" martial arts sequence + a shitle load of Gun Fu Action. You deffinetly need to watch this underrated gem😎

Haha One Man's Bastard is an amazing movie title. I will for sure check it out!

Even Simo Häyhä (the greatest sniper of all times) would call bullshit on that long shot but who are we to judge the great and powerfull Steven Seagal? 🤭🤣🤣🤣

Is that Craig Sheffer that is playing the FBI guy (the one that found his perch on the tower in the beginning)? The guy that played in "Fire With Fire" with Virginia Madison?
@AmityvilleFan2 жыл бұрын
0:33 - yes, Seagal used rifles wrong all along, but this is a new low. 3:37 - just realised, Seagal did not go to a strip-club in the previous movie!

Dude, the special effects. It’s like Seagal is just embezzling the left over budget and giving it to his washed up wrestler friends

Mandylor had a career. He was in the Saw franchise for awhile. Sheffer looks familiar. Just can’t remember what I’ve seen him in.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure they originally made this movie to be a miniseries. I think that’s why they have those weird commercial break moments.

I don’t know how these Seagal movies keep getting worse. This was one was absolutely terrible and confusing. Don’t even get me started on the blood effects

You know, I wonder, does Seagul know they replace him with body"doubles" in some shots? Or do they just tell him that shooting that Scene in the dark looks super cool only to replace him later without him knowing?

6:58 He reminds me of older David Boreanaz (Buffy, Angel series).

13:48 Cameraman already looking up to expose his neck for a knife. lol Seagal's hair coloring must be expensive. It's darker than a $20,000 triple black paint job on a car.

a lot of people, including myself, actually edc their gun at the front. With the safety on, obviously. You can get to it way faster as opposed to carrying it on your lower back.

This is only the third best sniper scene from movies. Have you ever seen Wanted (2008)? The top two are from that movie, and if you haven't seen it, you're in for a treat.
