Credit to the drivers in the background of the code 5 stop. They’re turning around and Keeping out of the officers line of fire - even though they’re pointed at the car, it’s good they’re taking safety precautions to stay away from the scene and let the officers control their situation and safely put the suspect under arrest without any discharge occurring. Tops well done to everyone involved

@@killtrump_666 Correlation does not equal causation . Yes America is #1 but imprisonment (reform) is all about that public safety. Removing a 4th OWI/DUI offender from the public is in the best intrest of public safety. They obviously have a drinking problem and it is time for some tough love. Incarceration works for SA, Predo's, habitual offenders. Look what is happening in California and their soft on crime approach.
@Mike-ry4mg
@Mike-ry4mg Жыл бұрын
4th dui in the state of Wisconsin is mandatory 3 years prison time with a $10,000 fine. A signature bond was probably issued due to lack of jail space and the fact that he probably wasn't deemed a significant threat to the public. Once he goes to court, he will go to jail to await transportation to a classification facility to determine the level of security he will need min-max. He didn't walk free promise. Wisconsin doesn't work that way. When it comes to DUI, they are the strictest in the nation and proud of it.

Vehicular manslaughter or negligent homicide would be much closer too accurate charges but both of those would require him to have actually ended a life. Or I'm sure there has to be some sort of charge related to endangering the life or welfare of a public servant

My son who is a police officer was on a domestic violence call. He was in the house trying to calm the situation. The suspect walked out of the house and my son followed. The suspect managed to get into his car after being ordered not to. He was chasing my son in his car, as my son was on foot. This happened in the confines of a gated yard. The assisting officer finally got the suspect stopped by pinning his car against the fence. All of this was caught on the dash cam and on body cam. It was so frightening to see, especially as a mother!!! Several months later, my son saved this same suspect’s life by administering Narcan . So ironic 🤦🏻‍♀️

At least 10% fault on that officer. His logic: Stand in the middle of the road where a car is approaching, car just barely makes it past you, then the person standing on the road must say "WHY THE HELL DID YOU TRY TO HIT ME I COULD HAVE DIED" The person was ON THE ROAD, in the direction where the car was heading. If the person used their eyes in the example scenario then they could have avoided the risk themself. Besides, people can't stand in the middle of the road where cars are passing through. If the person got killed because they stood in the middle of the highway, it's on the person, not on the cars, because we can't go from 70 to 10 just because of one lazy person who refused to move in a highly dangerous area.

The suspect is actually a convicted child molester: James Tyler Harwood, 53, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 15. The charges cover incidents reportedly occurring between June 1, 2007, and August 31, 2007, at a home on Family Circle Drive in Bullhead City. Harwood is being held in county jail on a $250,000 bond.

@@Primalxbeast He needs to get in contact with children's services. There's not much the police can do other than ask the parents if the kid is good and they're obviously going to say yes cause nobody will admit to being abusive.

Just imagine if the guy just tried to kill a cop. Oh wait. One is real. Sure every statement by drunks should be investigated. That wouldn't be a total waste of resources. He already just cost the taxpayers a new car.

I doubt he was telling the truth about a child being in danger, it was just him trying to justify entering someone’s house. He was also hollering at the officers that “they’re gonna shoot you”. I’m thinking that in his state of mind his grasp of reality /the facts is shaken at best.

@@drn13355 he didn't get charged with attempted murder though, so what you are saying isn't correct about trying to kill a cop. I also think every report should be taken seriously and if it was false, then charge him accordingly

Do you honestly think the police should be listening to drunk psycho that ran from them? Could you imagine the police showing up at your door to question you and intrude in your life on the word of this fucking clown?

Anytime someone mentions something about a child being abused HAS to be investigated, no matter if the guy is a drunk or not? And if they Do NOT follow up on it, then THEY are negligent!!! That sissy cop was more concerned about his car being hit and "almost being killed"! This makes me angry on so many counts. Where is the follow up to the child being abused??

I would really like to hear more of what the drunk guy has to say about the kid being abused in the nearby house and a cop that's covering it up. Because I've personally experienced that, and although I don't want to believe it's true elsewhere, life has made me aware of it's high probability and something's obviously got him so upset he's almost psychotic (but he made sense to me). Hopefully everything is ok over there... Because it isn't here.
