On June 24, 2023, a speeding motorcyclist in Holmen, WI, attempted to evade a pursuing officer before crashing and fleeing on foot. Despite a search involving multiple agencies, the male suspect couldn't be located. The officer, armed with information from the motorcycle's license plates, decided to visit his residence.
The purpose of the featured content is to show the law enforcement interaction. It is NOT to publicly shame, ridicule, or degrade the individuals involved. We go out in the desert shoot bebe guns at pop bottles..back then it was good times.. I took a defensive driving course years ago for the 10% insurance reduction, and the class was taught by a clearly-jaded cop who was just shy of retirement. He advised the class as an oh-by-the-way, that if you're ever lit up by a cop and you've been drinking but you're close to home, just punch it and run inside and grab a beer and then answer the door and say you didn't realize that they were behind you / trying to pull you over. At that point (he claimed) there's too much reasonable doubt for there to be a DUI conviction. But, yeah, it seems like you're still gonna catch some charges for fleeing. Not sure that's really any better than a DUI.

He’s probably going to get a felony for this, and then a few years down the line, when he’s trying to get an actual job that’ll be able to give him financial independence and growth as a person, every employer will deny him based on his felony arrest/conviction. Menial work for low wages, living with mom cause he can’t make enough to get his own place. No gf cause hes broke and lives at home. probably one of the most amicable videos I've seen by all parties. Cop was very professional, mother was very reasonable, teen came to his senses, apologizes, accepts guilt. These kinds of interactions are few and far between these days. With the way his mother sounded and presented herself, I have faith the teen can turn it around.

Apologizes and accepts guilt resulting in a felony charge. If he just kept his mouth shut it would have been far more difficult to prove. A felony is a huge deal and could ruin his life. Hopefully he can plead that down.
