If you're not applying to FANG they keep the questions at what would be considered "Leetcode Easy", which most programmers can solve or get close to solving in the allotted time. If you can't, a really simple solution is just practice 3 leetcode easy problems a day. Once you get into FANG, you'll begin facing "Leetcode Medium" questions in interviews. Honestly, just learn how versatile data structure and algorithms are and you'll begin to see patterns in problems. The most CRUCIAL advice I can give you is to practice with a friend and do mock interviews to each other. This is because half the coding interview is evaluating if you can solve the problem and the other half is judging how easy you would be to work with (i.e., how well you convey your thought process).

He said in a video that he made the previous ones against his will, because he had a contract and had to do them. Now he's back doing videos with a fuck ton (really, a third of a video being just ad is excessive) of ads in it. I watch anyway cause Joma is hella entertaining and funny, but I wish there was more of him in the videos, like more time of content instead of ads. I quited my job without an offer before. The first two months felt great. Then the anxiety and stress began to kick in, I eventually managed to land myself a decent job 6 months into being jobless. Looking back, it was a tough time, but I learnt a lot during that 6 months break. Would I do it again? Probably not. Two advices for people who are in similar situations - 1. keep a healthy routine and stick with it. 2. Don't post your emotions on social media - cuz I can almost guarantee you would regret it afterwards. Keep walking, Joma.

I even had to take vacation because I couldnt stand looking at my home everyday for 4 months and thank god after I went back from vacation I got a job from one the hundreds of the interviews that i went. One tip for anyone griding leetcode for interview: do not just practice on leetcode! Broaden the scope of your training. This really bit me in the ass on my last interview. I got asked a question that involved bipartite matching (max flow algorithm) and I never even saw a bm problem on LC. This problem caused me to fail the interview. My advice is to do the following in addition to leetcode: - Read about your language of choice, if you chose C++, learn about STL algorithms and containers, smart pointers, lambda functions, return value optimization, string streams, etc. Yes, I actually got asked about this on many occasions. - Learn some less known algorithms and data structures, bipartite matching that I mentioned above is one, but there are also Tries, segment trees, fenwick trees, KMP algorithm, rabin-karp, suffix arrays, etc. The thing is, EVERYONE is solving leetcode problems, you need something that can set you apart from the crowd, applying one of these algorithms to a problem is big bonus points. Good luck on your preparations and hope you get the job you want!

I'm also a huge fan of the enhanced pomodoro techique, 5-10 minutes of work, 30 minutes of whatever you want. The great thing about it is if you do manage to get a whole hour worth of work done all in one go, you're good for a whole week!

I do not come from CS background but I've been to an software interview before. So hard that I couldn't even understand the questions which involved wizards, dragons and magic 😆. I failed that interview and I realized that the only way for me to master is practice.... practice... practice...

bruh it seems like you have really isloated yourself and you're stopiing yourself from having a social ife for some reason. That's very dangerous and it will continously degrade your mental health. Human is a social animal remember. I have an exam in an hour and instead of getting back to studying asap I'm here typing this for you so just give this a thought atleast. Love your vids.
