I wasn't trying to complain, it was more of a surprise and a little frustration. I haven't seen many, actually ANY "premieres" that were longer than 4-5 days. There are only a few of these types of shows that I really have gotten into and I guess my impatience was on full display.

I think people hate on Cody too much, saying “he wants to be indigenous so bad, he claims to be part of a tribe”. As an indigenous person myself, I believe he just has so much respect for the natural ways of life and indigenous knowledge. He knows what he’s doing, and I love the fact that a lot of his wisdom comes from mimicking and learning from native tribes around the world. In each video I heard at least one time he used an indigenous method/knowledge for something.

​@@AlonzoMerced-u7nactually this is one of the survival shows were very little was staged. the art of self-reliance is literally the most staged part of the show outside of major medical emergencies (I say that the art of self-reliance segments are staged but really it's just the people filming them pointing out stuff that they could use for it and then go through with it for the art of self-reliance segments. even those are incidental and only staged to as much as they could be because of the way the show works) that's why I really liked the series even once Joe replaced Dave

Cody is a survival instructor at the aboriginal living skills school in Prescott Arizona. Wich he founded in the early 90s. Cody has full authority to use any knowledge he has. I don't know why people gotta hate one genius
