Cody Jinks warmed up for Sturgill Simpson in Kansas City Missouri at a hole in the wall bar I can’t even remember the name of and I brought my brother to the show for his birthday about 5-6 years ago as we were huge Sturgill fans...we left the show thinking this Cody Jinks dude is just as good as Sturgill...saw him after the show guitar case in hand and no one paid him any attention as he waited for a cab for 10 minutes by himself and finally got in one...I kick myself everyday for not going to shake his hand and tell him how awesome his music is!!! I have a friend who owns a bar and tried to book him 3 years ago cost was $75k for the night...congratulations man you made it!!!!
