This song is based on an old Cherokee grandfather teaching his grandson about life. Grandfather said there's a fight going on inside of me. It's a terrible fight between two wolves. One is evil he is anger, sorrow, Envy, regret, arrogance, self-pity, greed, guilt, resentment, inferiority, false Pride, superiority, and ego. He said to his grandson the other is good he is love, joy, peace, hope, sincerity, kindness, empathy, benevolence, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. Grandfather said the same fight is going on inside of you and inside of every person to. The grandson thought about it for a while and then said which one will win grandfather the old Cherokee replied which one you feed.

Finally realized that my entire life, many people said I was the most stubborn people they'd ever met. I figured if that's right then I'm stubborn enough to quit. January 1, 2015 at approximately 1:00 am I put that stubborn to work. First 3 - 6 months were rough, then it was a few years before I felt strong enough to be around people who drank. HOLD FAST.
